Cos I have so much writing to do which needs to be finished by the end of the week so it can't be the weekend yet :rotfl:

Don't worry too much about the 'forgetful beer'.

I am still experiencing the anti-alcohol hangover of the centuary - pah

Hi guys, can I kind of join in here?

I succumbed to wine last night and I'm really wanting to try not to drink alcohol on work nights, and then only on Friday nights and possibly not every Friday night. Strange thing is I seem to easily be able to do it if I'm not working, say having a week off - it's just work that seems to trigger me. I worry that I can drink more than most people without suffering too badly for it the next day. All that stuff I'm sure you are all familiar with.

I don't go out much, my downfall is opening wine at home. If I prepare something to eat then the urge goes but my problem is if I open a bottle when I get in. Arrgh, it's not good!

I drank last night and this morning I'm regretting it. So you are doing AF days per month.

We are now almost half way through May so I'm going to aim for 15 AF days out of the 17 remaining.

Have a good a day all!
  • Thank you BB for all the work you are doing and for the lovely personalised messages to everybody. Thanks too, 40SM for volunteering for next month.

I 'treated' myself to 'a few glasses' of wine last night, because I had been working so much. REALLY regretting it now, feeling terrible and annoyed with myself. I wonder if I could go completely AF? I allow myself 2 non-AFDs per week, but feel so rough the next day that I don't really think it is worth it. Just about to order 'Living Sober' from Amazon.

Well done to all who manage more than 3 AFDs in a row. :THave a great day everybody
