  • :hello:hello one and all...

Hope you all had a good weekend and have started the week in the manner to which we are becoming accustomed to.... I've not had the best start to July, but I am AF today and hope to clock up some more this week.. So that's 5 for me now, thanks jo. x

I might have made things easier on myself if I hadn't ignored the number of 'out' events and birthdays I have this month.. not all mine....but i'll do my best to stretch to my target and hopefully reach it...

Sorry can't give any doggie advice... i'm a out and out cat person..

    Hugs to all. xxx

Glad you perked up a bit Miss P and that roast sounds fab....If you read back your posts from the past week or so when you have been af that might help you too when you are hearing the bells as your posts have been so full of joy x

As you are all offering do any of you want my twins for a few days :D the one that is usually more laid back and less trouble is being a right madam at the moment  DS came home though today with a glowing report, I was soo proud, he got great results in his subjects, but the bit that made my day was when it said he was 'a popular member of the class' and the teacher put he was a 'pleasure to teach' (I did have to re-read the name on the front at that point though lol) but I am pleased he is doing well but the main thing for me has always been that he is happy there....

Have been naughty tonight, i was doing some card making with ds when I thought I might as well finish the wine in the fridge :o it was only 2 glasses of low alcohol stuff, but wish I hadn't bothered now as a) I have wasted an drinking day and b) to be truthful when I had finished the 2nd glass I really wanted more, didn't open another though so that's something....

YM/115K Glad to hear from you and you too xxxxx Jo xxxxx

Fay Great to be reading your posts again, rubbish about what you are going through workwise, but hope they get their finger out and treat you a lot better in the future, you deserve the chance to do your phd and if you need a bit of help, then you should be given it ....so there :p

Hi everyone else and welcome Silentsmile hope this thread helps

    :hello:

Good, positive feel on here tonight. Hope you managed the rest of the evening Miss P.

Welcome Silentsmile I don't want to put you off but I wouldn't aim too high with your first target. Personally I would rather have an achievable target and, reach (and if possible exceed) it than be disheartened. I suppose it depends just how much you need to cut down.

115K, cutting back is good, that's why most of us are on here. Being smiley dependent I must have AF days. If only I could manage just a couple of glasses (like you 69 chick -well done).

I was thinking Fay that trying to get rid of you because of dyslexia is probably discrimination under DDA. Couldn't you demand an amanuensis (I think that's what they call them). Hope all goes well.

Budgie, you're sounding so much more cheerful and like your old self - must be the scintillating company on here!

xxjoxx good to hear from you again and all you others checking in with your good news and good wishes.

To those who haven't checked in hope it's not the swine flu or the wine flu (a la Piglet) that's got to you.

    5AF please Jo.

Sorry, but that made me laugh! Thank you all for the concern and the support. I did resist the lure of the wine. OH went and bought me chocklit instead :D
Piglet being a little cutie today so have unwrapped him again...trust me, one of you WILL get him if he plays up again!;)
He's off to nursery at 1pm and I'm off for a cake decorating lesson with my Mums neighbour. So I'm a happy bunny:D

Jo - 12 for me please

69 chick - bet you were a proud mummy with that report!

Anyway, off to do a few bits and pieces. **waves** to everyone

    Miss P

Hi everyone. I hope you are all ok. I'm not managing to check in as much as I'd like but knowing we are all on this little challenge is helping to keep me on the straight on narrow. When I'm having a drink, I'm drinking less or even choosing lower-alcohol drinks and also drinking water. Shock horror! I've managed 7 days AF so far. I can't remember what my target is, 20 or 22 I think, but I'll do my best. Must try harder! Have a good day everyone!
