:hello: No more AF days yet but will be back on the wagon on Monday. This week looks fairly quiet on the socialising front so hope to get a few AF days chalked up.

Watch that winebox Maz, I find them absolutely lethal. We sometimes get them cheap on P&O ferries but I can demolish one in a couple of nights although I do know people who can make them last for ages. I think they need enormous discipline...and if I had that I wouldn't be posting on here:rotfl:

I'm getting really worried about Budgie too, we haven't heard much of her since her awful holiday experience. Hope you're OK BB if you're reading??

Enjoy Sunday everyone, weather still good and warm here.

I had a drink last night, I didn't go mad so that was okay. Problem is though I kept it a secret. I think this is half my problem, I now see drinking as a bad thing (which is possibly is in my case). Anyhoo, no more secret drinking days for me.

Well, that didn't last long did it

I drank last night and am a little p!ssed off with myself today, I'm going to the concert tonight and don't want any more drinking days so I'm thinking I might stay sober

Though saying that, I do find it easier to be sober when I'm out of the house as my trigger is being indoors, particularly when cooking. So I'm thinking a diet coke instead of Peroni at the meal, then a bottle of water during the concert. As I have no money this is a good idea, plus I could leave my car at the station so I don't have to get a cab when I get back.

So looks like I might not drink tonight. Really don't fancy a hangover tomorrow either.

Maz, sorry to hear that you've had some bad news, hope things cheer up soon xx

    Budge, where are you?

    Everyone else, morning :)

    xx

    Hiya Stroppy

I know what you mean about getting fed up thinking about not drinking then doing it immediately after, that's half my problem too :D We will all get there in the end, we just need to try different ways to make it work :) Please do stick around though, even if you're not participating in the challenge, I love your posts :D

I don't wanna speak to soon either considering I've just read on the NHS website that the swine flu virus stays on soft surfaces for 20 minutes and hard surfaces like door handles and desktops for....24 hours  but, I feel okay, had a few dizzy spells the last couple of days so back on the vertigo tablets just to be safe....don't know what kinda tickets my friend has bought us for the 02 tonight, but I'm hoping they are not the ones at the top cos I don't think my vertigo will let me go up there!! But the tickets were very very expensive so I'm sure we'll be up top somewhere. My friend just text me to say that as the Jubilee Line is shut for planned maintenance, she's booked us on the return champagne trip to the 02 on the Thames clipper, just when I'd decided I'll stay sober

I will never forget my DD1's first week at high school (she's doing her second year of a-levels now ), in just 5 days she was a completely different person. Her hair was styled different and with care, she spoke differently somehow, she looked and acted grown up....really really odd....apparently this is normal :D

Lucky you!! It seems such a simple thing to achieve though doesn't it? Just don't drink alcohol and you will have no hangover, so why do so many of us have hangovers regularly

Hope you all have a good day, I am gonna have to get off now and do the chores before going out this evening, I'll stick the totals up now but they've not really been updated much since yesterday, I might not have a chance to get on later. :)
