I keep nearly clicking on the other buttons instead of the reply button.:D

I bet Madonna will be good Jo.

Good luck with the giving up Miss Piggy.:T I hope you have a nice day today.

I haven't had one day AF yet. I was out last night and I had taken milk thistle and kudzu and I was AF until about 9pm and then I started looking wistfully at all the people standing round me with beers in their hands and then I had quite a lot to drink. I was awake until 4 this morning watching TV and talking about Michael Jackson.:D:o (I was talking to an actual person not just drunkenly rambling to myself I have to add.)

I think I might have forgotten to say hello and good luck to any new people.

    I hope everyone is okay.:A

    Evening people,
Just a quick note to hello. Ive not had one AFD yet but will do. I've bought a box of wine yesterday, which wasn't a good idea, so i'm on the first glass now. going to get a grip again, as i had some bad news on friday which really upset me, so that's why i went for the alcohol. I've done better so know i can do it again.
Hope everyone's feeling positive, enjoy the rest of the night

    4AF for me please Jo.

However, I was sorely tempted today after some rather fractious DIY with OH. He went and got himself a beer and I thought s*d it, I'm in a bad mood, so's he, so I'm going to have a drink. Then sat myself down in front of the laptop, reminded myself of all the comments that have appeared on here, specifically GCs comments today in reply to Miss Piggy, and thought "how is having a drink going to help?". So made myself another coffee and thankfully the bells receded.

So, once again everyone - thank you so much. If I wasn't on here 'talking' to you all, I'm pretty sure I'd have consumed over a bottle of wine by now.

We were supposed to be entertaining friends for lunch tomorrow, which would again have tempted me to have a glass or two, but they're unwell so not coming. So I'm hoping to continue being AF until our next social event which is Thursday evening. However I really am going to take it day by day and not get too worked up if I don't achieve it.

Hope you're all having lovely evenings.

Sorry to hear you've had bad news. At least having bought a box, it will last a few weeks so you can have the occasional glass. Once a bottle is open it needs drinking otherwise it feels like a waste of money!! My only problem with buying a box is that I don't count how many glasses I have, so before I know it, its empty! I've got one in the fridge at the moment and haven't touched it for 4 days. If that had been a bottle I'd definitely have wanted to finish it. Rambling now, sorry ...

    Evening all

Thanks everyone for the support today. I'm feeling very upbeat and positive.

Avanother - well done on resisting the urge. I find GC's comments and insights really helpful. They make you stop and think. I'm going to print his reply to my recent post and keep it so I can remind myself when I'm struggling of WHY I need to give up. (40SM's suggestion - sensible woman !:D)

Maz123 - sorry to hear you've had bad news. Go easy on that box though - I find them fatal!

Well our picnic was lovely. We all had a lovely time. Piglet got most excited about hard boiled eggs for some strange reason. Had to stop him after the second one:rotfl: Strange child!:D

And am pleased to say no wine bells as yet. Just happy to have a happy family.

Hope everyone has had a good saturday?

    Miss P
    xx
