I have just had a serious blonde/senior moment, was reading annberlins post and when she said 'her part of the world' I looked at here info and noticed she lives in berlin....sooooo ann berlin....Now for some reason I had been thinking something entirely different 'ann boleyn' as in Henry viii wife....:rotfl::rotfl: probably not funny to anyone else one bit, but I can't believe I was thinking it all day and nearly put a comment something like I might call you Jane Seymour or something :o:o

Me too, glad I didn't attempt any jokes now. I was feeling a bit down this week and thought they might not come across as funny at the mo. Not that they did before :D But I didn't want to scare Ann off with picking on her username to make jokes.

Anyay well done Ann - an AFD very quickly :T:T

I think this one can be counted for me now as off to bed. Bells weren't too bad tonight which surprised me after yesterday. Still in shock about consuming 12 ww points of booze just yesterday. And that's without the pizza. Haven't added the units up yet but going to get an early night tonight.

    Evening and goodnite all :rotfl:

Fess up - I did the Ann thingie as well! And I loved the joke - am going to C&P it to work. And very well done Ann for AF today; hope you manage to sleep ok, am sure you know it wouldnt be unusual for you not to get a good night's sleep. takes me about 3 to 4 days.

40SM please put me down for 17AF :T

Am beginning to feel a lot better today and not as down, am loving my bed and am sleeping brilliantly, not spending as much time at the pc thou and I've been to the supermarket twice this week, didnt even flinch near the wine ilse last night in Mr T's and the wines and spirits man and myself are on first name terms (so to speak - we actually share the same surname).

Right off to see if the dog will go out - it depends on whether the rain has stopped! Just had a brilliant thunder storm; though DS1 wants to know why it's not called a lightening storm!

I still think its strange that there are no cans or bottles in my recycling bin nor wine glasses in my dishwasher; think I'll hold out till my birthday (4 wks). It's not even 11 and am yawning loads - never go to bed before 12 usually!!

    :hello:

Not too bad a night. I've been busy doing some work and found that by having hot drinks (black tea), I take my time. Otherwise I'm knocking back the soft drinks much too quickly. Hopefully I'll sleep OK.

I was interested in people's attitudes to booze in the house. When I was getting pop out the other evening I found myself gazing longingly at the Pimms. I also love G&T, so much so that, when I was trying to kid myself that I only drank a bottle of wine a night, I would slip in the odd G&T or a glass of sherry so that I didn't empty my bottle too quickly. Also if I was on a MSE/weightloss kick I'd drink G&T (slimline) based on the premiss that I had gin in the house and own-brand slimline was so much cheaper than wine. Pleasingly, my OH's recent conversion to being a beer drinker has helped me. I don't do beer at all so it doesn't bother me to watch him drinking it. Previous years on holiday, we would order a bottle of wine at dinner and I while he sipped a glass the waiters would be coming back to top me up until it was all gone. Last week he ordered a beer and I had a single glass and coped fine.

Sorry to ramble on but it helps to tell myself how far I've come thanks to all the help and support on here.:A We all deserve a pat on the back for each AF day we complete.

    6AF please 40SM.

'night all. Not sure about tomorrow. I'm going out for part of the evening so I may manage an AF Friday but I'll see how I feel tomorrow - new, shiny day may give me new resolve.
