Hope everybody feeling well and positive. :j

    This is very sad.

I had a wobble today which surprised me. We were in Waitrose and they had an offer on vodka and my head said, "Ohhh go on then" It came from nowhere! No triggers, upset,"things to avoid", nothing.
THEN I realised I hadn't had my Kudzu. Could it be that? Could the craving return so swiftly? I need to know more about it.

Anyway, i came home and had an alcohol-free lager and the tablets. That was 3 hours ago and now i feel great and back on track. It is a wobbly path we walk.

Good luck everyone, hope your day was a good one x

P.S. Re; The teenage years. They can start earlier....my eldest daughter was tricky to live with ( to put it VERY mildly) from 11 - 20 years old.

Scotsman4th you are duly updated on my May list, well done on 3 af days so far and good luck for the rest of the month. Hugs xxxxxxxxh

Fb hugs and after reading your post even bigger hugs ((())) you went through an absolutely horrible time, it sounds harrowing. I know you said it was sometime ago but how is your son now? So awful for you not to feel comfortable in your own home, we need to feel safe and secure in our own home away and able to get away from the outside world. So glad you got through such an awful phase in your life and I hope that where you are living now is peaceful and secure? Hugs and lots of love xxxxxxxx

The doctor was not so keen to perscribe them but I think the bags under my eyes must have done the trick ;) Anyways hun take care and of course hugs xxxxxxxxx

Yup, you've guessed it, only just managed to get online so no massive personals post

Just popping in quick before the apprentice to say you can notch me up another day please Budge as I wil not be drinking today, as much as I really really want to! Been drinking hot fresh lemon and honey all evening, now going to have a decaf.

To all, thank you all to the wonderful support you have given me today, you are all stars (even the lurkers, thanks ;)) xx

MP, to answer your question, no it wasn't the hangover that gave me a dodgy stomach and light head, in fact it wasn't 'that' sort of dodgy stomach :o it was quite bizarre actually....the anti-b's said to take with lots of water so I drank a large glass down with it and ate a huuuuge croissant as well just in case....probably about an hour later I was absolutely ravenous, so starving that I thought I was going to either faint or be sick, so I had a pack of crisps, that didn't work, I felt truely ill from hunger, my stomach felt empty and was growling at me from my actual stomach like it was starved. A colleague kindly donated another bag of crisps :o that didn't do anything either. An hour later I ate a roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings, I was banging the kitchen's door down half hour earlier than usual cos I was so hungry. Then went on to eat about 10-12 quality streets throughout the course of the afternoon, drove home starving. I was also frequently sat quite still but suddenly felt like my head was waving around and lost my balance. Popped into pharmacists and he said that it's not an unusal side effect and he recommends stopping them as I had this reaction, if I have another tonight it could get worse to the point of vomiting or fainting through low blood pressure

So I'll stick with the bronchitis for now and see how we go!

    Gotta go, apprentice on

    Speak later xx

am going to "do a jo" (sorry mate!) & apologise in advance for gloomy post.......

no bad news as such but am going to drop out of may challenge for all sorts of reasons, not cos am going on complete bender for the month, honest! please don't anyone take it personally esp budgie i'll lurk more than lurkio ever lurked (& obv will post ever-witty comments...) but right now don't want to be counting af days.

re vitamins etc.....zipvit are good online service...I get milk thistle 5700mg there, they don't seem to do kudzu tho. I've also started vit b complex nothing to do with alch but was told it prevents insect bites, & I'm a magnet for ANYTHING BITING in the summer. except oh ha ha :rotfl:

I will drop in (probably 10 times a day ) hope no offence caused again esp to you budgie, thanks for the link above

and the very best to you all, xxxxxxxx, feel a bit sad now! no change except for no wb target.

so let's get on with apprentice...dire...

Hi all- just had a strange experience, some guy followed me home in his car from where I work and I was looking in the mirror all the time- when I pulled into my drive he said he was an off duty plain clothes police man who'd followed me home as he noticed I had crossed a white line 3 times in the winding road that is between bodmin and par (cornwall). I live right next to the local shop and all my neighbours are about, but he lept up the drive, said ' stay in the car' then said he'd followed me and I'd gone over the white line in the middle of the road 3 times (in 18 miles), then I had to stand in my drive with 2 police officers whilst they gave me a breathaliser that said, 'O% alchohol' . They gave me the speech about crap driving, but I didn't do anythingdangeroustoday. P**ses me right off.]
    Hope everyome is OK tonight.
