I spotted a 'gift basket' thread on here just before christmas and the pictures of other peoples efforts were amazing (like yours) and so creative- I think I might have a go at these this year

I'm with Eselt on this one, I think I might try my hand at gift baskets for crimbo, little ones for the kids teachers and work colleagues etc..

So, Budgie, we need help. Where do you buy the stuff and how do you do it??

We could be picking things up over the year and it'll save a fortune at crimbo time
ETA: we gotta make this thread MSE somehow :D

E (again) TA: Thanks to Eselt mentioning the basket thread, I've just spent half hour reading it, loads of great ideas but unfortunately it means my tidying up didn't get done

    Ok guys gotta be quick.

On my lost post I had said very well done to Eselt on the job news :T you will be fab will catch up more later and Wbf have you heard yet sweetheart? Hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Jo the basket thread is just so addictive, they have a pictures only one too.

I buy my cello from Lidl, the bows I get from a lovely lady who makes them to what colours you want. Baskets are from anywhere really, Hb, Dunhelm, Wilkos etc.

When I was doing my better me prize I picked up some things each week to add in.

I was doing you a gardening one hence the fluffy ladybird etc, but added some bath bits for when you have finished :D

It is so addictive I am now doing one for the Tara Centre Summer Fair, they asked on Wednesday for bits to sell. So I have bought some meditation books, a zen type sand garden and a Buddha candle like the one I sent Fay. Just going to add some more bits and bobs then wrap it up and take it on Wednedsay.

At Christmas my hampers were nice if I say so myself, considering Mr BB was not working I was really pleased with my gifts. I did my son a Chelsea hamper and it was fab, he didin't open it until he was going back to London because it was so good  I also did him a massive log basket and wrapped all his pressies individually in cello with curly ribbon and I had sweets and candy canes all on the top and a big Santa welcome sign on the front. I was really pleased with it. I bought a Chelsea tour and put a special message in it and then had the Chelsea hamper as a suprise. Even the dog had one too ;)

Sorry I must go now but as you can see once I get going, theres a lady on the other thread called Rusty Flange she is a legend. I posted her a message some months ago just saying how great I think she is.

Off to sort some offers now and other stuff. | hate working on a Saturday, I am only on here as I am on my own. Work are funny about the net, they have banned facebook, yahoo etc.

So I only get a sneaky chance on a Saturday.

    Hugs gotta dash

I did name this month's challenge the "Do something different challenge " and I must say that most days you do something completely different from the rest of us :T:T . Ouch to the the thumb > Does it need a stitch. Please don't give in today as you are doing brilliantly and we are all rooting for you. You are a star.

    Catch you later.

:D Nah .... just sprayed it with some purple dyed goat and sheep 'anti- foot rot' disinfectant on it! That should do it :rotfl::rotfl:

Its dyed purple so you know which feet have been done ....... I have well and truely been done

Only trouble is the dye stays on your hands for about a week :D

    Caught .... purple handed
