Sorry but don't be complacent...had one out last year at ripe old age of 48 having had no previous probs....

Miss P you are the most accident prone / poorly person I've ever known! Hope you stop hurting soon x (Bridgemead Sainsburys or the A420 junction one?):D:D

Always been accident prone but have NEVER been this poorly in my life.

Must be the only person to have a wasp break their elbow (I fell over running away from it!). And when I worked in a butchers I ran my hand over the ham slicing machine!
Poorliness though I've never really suffered from. Until Piglet came along - now we both get EVERYTHING!!!

A420 Sainsburys....FAR too handy for a quick visit after work!

    Miss P

    Exactly :rotfl:

It's funny cos when I saw the locum doc the other day he asked why my normal doc prescribed me diazepam last year, I said it was to help quit the alcohol but I didn't actually take any of them (well actually I had 1) because I can't stand feeling out of control.

He gave me a very funny look :rotfl: he didn't say anything though!

Last time me and OH went away on an aeroplane I had to take Diazepam as I am a nervous flyer....to say the least....unfortunately we also had upgraded seats as it was our honeymoon....which also meant free booze,so 2 diazepam and 2 bottles of wine later I was away with the fairies  Never been so zonked in my life...I even managed to look out the window :D Luckily no children with us.....:D
I too have never been as sickly as I am now my kiddies started school.....yet they rarely get anything!I'll touch wood now as were off on hols on Monday and be just my luck they all get ill!

Hi all- thanks for the congrats peeps, really excited about new job with NHS- proper holidays, pension etc, can't wait. Will be working with people with common mild/moderate mental health problems, mostly using CBT- should pick up some tips for you folks on the way?

Fingers crossed WBF- heard anything yet? Hope no news is good news.

Jo- ouch!!! Take it easy you poor thing. On the plus side I had my wisdom teeth out all at the same time, and some cheekbones emerged for the first time in my life!

Budgie- you must be one of the sweetest most thoughtful posters on this entire site- I spotted a 'gift basket' thread on here just before christmas and the pictures of other peoples efforts were amazing (like yours) and so creative- I think I might have a go at these this year though.

To anyone struggling (hugs)- I'm sitting hear watching the Download festival online as my eldest is there with his mate and aunty, keep trying to spot him in the crowd- it looks a bit rough at the front, hope he's way back.

    Catch you all later.

    hi all,
40sm please put me down for 11 AFd's. which am really pleased at but struggling like mad and feeling pretty fed up and bored. Walked over to the cricket club where everyone was drinking and I normally would be but walked back home again (took the unsociable dog was so easy). the kids are having a sleepover tonight so I've 5 lads, just got them some kebabs n pizzas and my takeaway brings wine and I didnt order any - that's the second time he's seen me sober; am wondering if he knows

    Budge that gift is lovely:T

I went to bed early last night to watch a film about an ex-alcoholic (my name is Joe). Anyway i had to turn it off at midnight as it didnt have subtitles and it was foreign! It would have been fine for you scottish lovely peeps amongst us :rotfl::rotfl: but was way too broad for me. not really been on the pc as much this week, hopefully this demotivation will pass.

take care and good night all XX
