Hugs to everyone and I will have to sit and type it all again now, its so frustrating. I had to end the progaramme as it was not responding. Thats what you get for being naughty and doing something you shouldn't. :naughty:

    Morning all,

Miss P, I hope you're accident pains have gone away now, sorry but had to laugh about the wasp story, you know you must never run away from wasps, it's like a red rag to a bull!! Stay still and they won't hurt you! :)

WB, hope you're feeling better today hun, loved the joke yesterday.

GG, I am a TOTAL wuss when it comes to anything dental. I've had a hole in my tooth for over a year now and kept making dentist appts then cancelling at the last minute cos I was 'ill' or summat. My colleagues used to have a bet on wheter I'd actually go or not! I finally went in the Easter Holidays and got 2 temporary fillings, he told me to come back as soon as possible to have the proper fillings put in, but, I've, uh, not got round to it yet :o  Yesterday though, I woke up in such terrific pain that I was begging them to see me and was in the doors within half hour of it opening! Though you know what, it's lucky I didn't go back to have the rest of the work done because that meant that I didn't get charged for yesterday's visit as I was already having ongoing treatment

Stroppy, your plane story made me laugh, I can just imagine you zonked out staring out of the window of the plane :rotfl: I don't take things like that, but I will say they do take away any emotion, good or bad, you just sort of 'exist'. I've been constantly ill since I took the school job 18 months ago, poxy kids harbouring disease

Eselt, congratulations again on the job, although it's not the job you went for, I think it sounds like they are moving you in gently to gain skills to help you go for the position you want. You will be a perfect substance misuse keyworker in my opinion, but, and this is just a presumption as I've been thinking about it....although you (and I) have had counselling and treatment through these sorts of services, we only see it from one angle and so to get a general idea about people with problems like depression etc you are getting a broader view. Plus the people you are going to be helping will be prime targets for alcoholism/drug use so I think you are seeing the problems from the beginning rather than when they take hold. Once you've worked in the 'general' field for a while, I reckon then they will help you to channel yourself into the substance misuse world, but in a positive way this time :D Good luck, please let us know what happens and get us lots of tips. When do you start?

40SM, did you manage to video your DS doing his song yesterday, I remember when my DD1 (who's now 17!) used to belong to a dancing and tap dancing group and when she was first on stage, I cried :o

Netttie, congrats on the AF days so far this month. Re. the demotivation, have you tried taking a supplement like Berocca, they make you dance you know ;)

Fay, glad to hear normality has resumed :) sorry to hear you're working away though, you work too much!! You need some you-time mate :)

Morning Sparky, good to see you lurking and notching the AF days up :)

Budgie, oh what a pain in the bum :( can't you find it like you did last time? xx

 to everyone else, hope you are all okay?

I had a bad nights sleep cos of the gum pain, remembered to take some nurofen and a glass of water in to bed with me though so I took them quick and tried to get back to sleep quick. Woke up this morning and my face is even bigger than yesterday

The kids are hyper today too, especially DS as the RAF will be doing their fly past for the Queen's birthday today at 1pm, we will be going over the woods behind us and watching it from there as they fly directly over my house we can only either watch them coming or going (unless we watch them coming from the kitchen then run into the lounge to watch them going from there :rotfl:), so I thought as there is a big open space over the back we can watch the whole thing right over our heads! DS want's to be a policeman that flies a helicopter or in the army so that's why the fly past excites him. Just gotta time it right, they'll probably fly past about 4 or 5 minutes before they reach the Queen so about 12.55pm.

That's all I have planned, apart from that I shall be sat in my chair popping pills and feeling sorry for myself :(

    xx

I know exactly what you mean . I currently have 2 little boys queueing up behind my chair to get on . Mum , Mum , When can I get on the computer ?? . I go to make a coffee and they are then on CBeebies website.:rotfl::rotfl:

Catch you later as they are now asking me who I am writing to about CBeebies. No privacy in this house . It was certainly easier before they could read:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
