Feeling v.low tonight with a bottle of low strength alcohol lambrusco to drown my sorrows as OH and I decided to go our separate ways after many years.

Been in tears all day, might be right, might be wrong who knows, just want someone to love me for who I am and to tell me and not take me for granted. Life eh? Who knows if it is right or wrong to go the separate ways?

At least the alc is only 5 units for the whole bottle, not exactly hammered

Oh sorry Fedup just read your post as I missed it when I was replying to Fluffy. ((())) hugs sweetheart and I was in the same position as you are now at the beginning of the year. Things have worked out though and I really didn't think they would. So please don't cry as it is early days and you might just stay together?

As to whether its right or wrong to part? Only you can know that?

Sometimes we all feel taken for granted and we all get weighed down with struggling on paying the bills etc. But look at what is good and take it from there.

If you don't mind me asking do you have any children? Sorry if I have missed you saying regarding this. You also have to consider the practical side re: your house and everything.

I do hope that things get easier for you in whatever you decide to do? I didn't stop crying for ages but we are still together and I am pleased about that. I guess you will need to sit down and talk to your OH just do it when you feel you are ready.

We all wish you well Dearest Fedup and please do take care and look after yourself.

    God Bless

NO children and I moved out and bought a place 2yrs ago with no choice (hence the huge debt in now and house value depreciation over that time, good timing eh?)Had to start again from complete scratch. Stayed together in a way over that time, came to a head again and had to make a decision. Not sure if right or wrong?

    :hello:Hi all

I am delighted to report that I went for lunch with 3 old friends today, and had no alcohol at all - despite the glorious weather, sitting outside a heaving pub, and lunch in a very authentic Italian restaurant where the garlic smell just brought so many asssociations of wine to me. I had apple juice and water - yippeeeee! :j

FUAS - so sorry to hear about what you are going through. Well done for not getting a bottle of 14 per cent wine, at least you won't have a headache tomorrow. Relationships are so difficult - mine with Mr PIR is very changeable. But it makes things more tricky when you have children.

BB - lovely to hear from you. Thx for the info on the baskets and where you buy the things to make them. I am completely inspired to give people baskets for Christmas - I hope I can find the cello to wrap them, our nearest Lidl is quite a way away, but I'll look on the thread you recommend. I have learned so much from our thread - even the jokes! What about moving closer to London to live nearer to DS? Just a thought...

Jo - hope you're feeling slightly better. Looking forward the the mars evening at the end of August - another thing i've learned from this thread!

A big HI and GOOD LUCK for tonight to everybody else. We had a chinese meal tonight too - wow,a restaurant lunch and takeaway dinner - I'm really living it up now!!!

    Bi for now xx

Gc are you off on your jollies at the moment? Hope you are ok mate and that life is treating you kindly? Hugs and please post soon, we miss you :A xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Nope, in the UK, working away, keeping my head down. Always reading what people write, identifying with all of it:p
My trip to Japan was just work for a few days. I wish it was holiday.:D
Business travel gets monotonous fairly quickly I find. Don't like my routine getting screwed up either.
Still, extremely grateful to have a job

Hope everyone is ok - life is not being kind to many at the moment, but remember we get what we need, not what we want.
