  • Re: 5 kids - BHB, I'm sure you wouldn't be without any of them!!! However my 3 teenage DDs drive me bonkers, and between them and Mr PIR used to drive me to drink - but we have fun times too :rotfl:

Mr PIR desperately wanted me to share a couple of bottles of Pinot Grigio with him last night - I really didn't want to use my AFD on a Thursday, but agreed for the sake of harmony. Anyway, first glass was delicious, but I stopped after 2/3 of a bottle of wine and let him have the rest. So I am really pleased with myself that at least I was able to stop, and no hangover today. I won't be having any wine on Sat otherwise won't achieve target of one non-AFD per week. I've bought some Elderflower Press! from Sainsbury's today - I find it a very pleasant substitute for wine, and will have that and some choklit on Sat night. I'll also offer to drive people to places. Right, I'll stop whittering away now :o

Hope everybody is well and happy. :j

It really don't at the moment, one side of my face looks like a hamster!!

Yes I was proud to say I don't drink, she probably doesn't either as it was a muslim lady but I still felt like I was lording over her by saying 'no I don't do THAT!!' :rotfl:

PIR, congrats on the fantastic self-control and good luck for hitting your target :)

Oh and MP, it's not even toothache, there's nothing wrong with the teeth, it's the wisdom one at the back that has been coming through for about 15 years, every few months it probably grows a tiny bit and irritates the gum at the back and this time it's got infected, even all the glands are swollen on the left hand side of my neck! I knew something was gonna happen yesterday morning when I thought my throat felt dodgy.

He said that I might have to have them taken out, but me and dentists don't mix so I said only if I ever get it this bad again will I consider it. Usually when it happens they're sore for a day or two but goes away, this ain't going nowhere

I can't stop looking in the mirror at my deformed face, I gotta go up the school now and pick the kids up, I reckon everyone'll think I've been beat up (s'pecially if they saw me on the bus this morning :o)

Right better go or I'll be late.

Speak to you all later
