Hello everyone!

Can't quite believe there has been less than one page of posts since last night....where is everyone!?!

Winebox and 115k - I shouldn't worry. We all go through these patches. Like Orchid says, you'll both hit the zone again soon.

Fay - good luck with the grievance thing. Hope it goes positively for you!!

Orchid - glad to hear little Olivia is ok - kids do tend to be made of runner don't they!?

I'm aching all over today after my flying leap onto the concrete yesterday. Both arms are killing. Am sure it will wear off. To top it all, I have now got a very cartoon-like egg sized lump on the top of my head - bashed it on the corner of a cupboard door at my SIL's this morning. I swear the room actually span and birds twittered in a circle above my head!!:rotfl:

40sm - please can you make it 10 for me please? Cheers me dear!!!

Hi Orchid, Yes the two little ones 7 & 9 are home schooled. The older three went through mainstream schooling.

I have two boys 20 & 18 from a previous marriage, Mrs bhb has a daughter 22. Then for some strange reason decided to have a couple more :D:rotfl:

Okay, a story to bore you all now, but explains why I've been quiet.

My gum got very swollen yesterday afternoon and was painful, so much so that I had to ring NHS Direct to speak to a doc to find out if I could take paracetamol with the vertigo tablets (which I can, but by the time he rang it was too late cos I'd already took em, well...it was hurting!!).

I woke up a 1.55am in a pool of sweat and the shivers, my mouth was so painful and swollen, so got up and took more paracetamol even though it was only 3 hours since the last lot. Woke up this morning and took a look in the mirror, I looked like some kind of strange 1/2 caricature, half the face was normal, the other was twice the size :eek: I was in so much pain, couldn't open my mouth or talk (OH was pleased ).

Rang the dentist as soon as they turned the phones on and was in there half hour later, turns out I've got a massive infection as my wisdom tooth decided to have a growth spurt. Been given 2 lots of antibiotics which I have to take at the same time for them to work, got my vertigo tablets and taking 2 nurofen plus every 6 hours

The woman in the chemist and the dentist said I 'must not drink alcohol with 1 of the antibiotics as it will make you really sick'. I said, 'that's okay, I don't drink anyway', just slipped off the tongue :T:T

I had taken the bus into town as there was no way I could drive in such pain, and was on the bus going home and just started crying, I cried all the way home in pain for about 20 minutes and not one person said a thing.....I think they all thought I was a loon :rotfl: I rushed in and downed all 5 tablets and after 15 minutes the nurofen started to take effect thank god. Now my face is totally swollen but completely numb, I can't eat, can't even open my mouth wide enough to put anything in it

Dentist said the infection is so bad that I shouldn't expect any improvement for 2 to 3 days

My face looks comical :eek:

Hello everybody! Just a quick hi to say well done to all of you,esp Eselt re new job and fingers crossed WBF!
Sorry not to have checked back in last night but am packing for hols tomorrow:j Can't wait!
But.... in true holiday mode I polished off 2/3rds of bottle or wine last night:o So down I go at the first hurdle:rolleyes: Going all inclusive on holiday so will be drinking,but not until evenings as can't drink with kids during the day and will have to be canny at night too.Best intentions...
