  • Everythings crossed for you WBF :D

Blimey it went all quiet last night where was everyone ... staying off the stuff I hope ?

Watched Amy Winehouse last night, on BBC something. She was fantastic. But its such a shame how deep she has gone into addiction and depression. I felt really sorry for her. And just wondered how good she would actually be if she was free of the drugs and booze. Or is it that that gives the edge and character to her singing? Its obviously an huge subject for her song writing.

Anyway.... Suns out, guess that means only one thing ..... better clean the pool and check the chemicals for the kids .... I will give in an hour before they ask if they can go in! Sometimes I wish they went to school

    Best Wishes
    Andy

Phew made it on here! I've been reading in the background but every time I go to log in something happens.

Like 115k my month has gone a bit awry & I don't like coming on here constantly saying how carp I've been. Having done 5/5 days AF at the start of the month I haven't had one since :o. Back to it next week.

Feeling a bit yuk as have had sinus problems for quite a while & then started getting v bad nosebleeds (it's all linked...) so now on antibiotics. My ever-helpful GP told me it's a complete myth that you can't drink with antibiotics (except for one, which is usually for dental probs, I've had it before & stroppy you had it earlier this year didn't you?) but I'm sure it doesn't help to have too much so being careful. I'm sure when I feel better my resolve will return :D

WBF feeling the suspense.. a belated good luck.

YM I had to go & see Hannah Montana at the cinema (DD birthday occasion) & you're quite right about the teeth option.

Eselt it might not be the exact job you wanted but maybe a sideways move at a later date? Congrats anyway!

Hi Jo, Fay, Orchid, fuas, mp, bhb, miss p, dc, fluffy,40sm at al (who he?) sorry if I missed a name (I usually avoid this for that very reason!).

I can feel a bad joke coming on :D

A man takes his Rottweiler to the vet and says, "My dog's cross-eyed, is
there anything you can do for him?"

"Well," says the vet, "let's have a look at him" So he picks the dog up and
examines his eyes, then checks his teeth.

Finally, he says "I'm sorry but I'm going to have to put him down."

    "What? Just because he's cross-eyed?"

    "No, because he's really heavy"

    :D she's back...
  • oh dear ! ..... the joke, not that you are back :D

WB, sorry to hear you're struggling although 5 AFD is a good start so don't be too down about it. There's always next week :D

That joke was terrible, here's another groany one...

A brain goes into a bar and says to the bartender, "I'll have a beer, please." The bartender says, "Sorry, I can't serve you. You're out of your head."
