What a good idea! Might take a bit of bashing with a mallett but I'm sure he'd eventually fit !!!:j:j

How do you feel about shiftwork,Yellowmonkey? Harder than it used to be or are you OK with it?

I have been doing shift work for 15 years now and I must admit it is getting harder. I would hate to do 9-5 though as I would not get everything done in a weekend ;)

Looking ahead I have a peacfull Sunday coming up in December as my OH has managed to get tickets for Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana at the O2 arena  I would have gone but would rather pull my own teeth

    Enjoy your day

YM, love the glass!! Miss Piggy, hope you're not too sore.

No news yet, and I'm obsessively checking my phone every 10 seconds so not getting much else done. Back in reach of a computer now though...

I still haven't had any more days AF.:o I haven't been on here as much as I didn't really have too much to say about it and I didn't want to feel like I was rubbing it in for the people who are totally abstaining. I am out the next three nights so I won't be AF for them either. This month isn't going well on the AF front.

Well feel better this afternoon after doing a workout on the wii personal trainer. Treat myself to this today to cheer myself up as had the afternoon off work. it was great fun, esp the inline skating jumping :j Feel like I have done loads and it was only 16mins long :D

I've committed to the 30 day workout challenge for it so here we go!

I'm going on a work do tomorrow night for a reunion. Because I have committed to the AF June 30 days the decision has been made for me. In the past I have uummed and aahhed about what to do, not this time. Driving and no drinking :D

Will try and get up early and do another workout before work in the morning which means a 6am start - fingers crossed!

I am also going to do a meditation tonight, the workout changed my state of mind to a much more positive one considering how I felt this morning. Feel positive and with more energy which is nice!

No drinking alcohol tonight so will say now I'll be on 11 AFD and also 12 tomorrow! Yipee! :D Feels nice to have no pressure on myself for a change.

WBF, hope you get the good news soon

115k - don't beat yourself up about it, baby steps, one at a time, try again next week maybe?

Hope everyone else is ok, I am astounded at how exercise has changed my mood to be positive!

Where are my manners, forgot to say Hi to biglass, hello there my dear, welcome aboard the waggon, comfy seats and all!

WBF - everything is crossed for you!!

I'm not having a good morning. Tripped over loose slab on our garden path and went flying. Did a very ungainly fall (a la sack of spuds!!) onto the concrete. Now both my hands hurt...winge winge....

Did look around...am pretty sure no-one saw me, thank God!!!

Text OH asking him to sort it this weekend and he text back saying I should get in touch with SIL (She and my brother own our house) to get someone in to fix it! Lazy git! Not happy with HIM at the moment....how hard is it to lob a bit of concrete in!?

    Anyway....I'll stop moaning.....

    Miss P
    xx

To be honest Miss P I dunno what hes playing at cos its not difficult

I would either do it yourself and make a huge show of how easy it is

Or tell him a wee lassie from Orkney is on her way to sort it out for you cos he can't be bothered

You can even get ready stuff or a mix dry mix which is as simple as open bag, pour bag into hole, add correct water - job done.

But I can easily come down :)

Hi all- hop eyou are all OK- welcome aboard new people.

Well I got a job with the people I applied for, but not the job I applied for!!! I have accepted, but really wanted the trainee alcohol and drug counsellors job- they said I didn't get it because I didn't have enough experience working with people with drink problems- so I suppose lying on the settee off my head, watching Jeremy Kyle for a year doesn't count then? Fair enough I suppose.

    BHB- loving the goats!!!!

Jo, Molly, Winebox, Bis (hooray Bis is back!!) GC, 40something, Budgie, Fay and everyone else I've forgot (terrible memory)- good luck tonight.

    Thinking of you all.
