Well don't start me on that one sweetheart
I mean no alcohol SO FAR ALL YEAR and I ain't never felt so bad
Keep telling myself, if I were drinking I would be feeling worse, kind of a self Budgie hug thingy, but it ain't making any difference to me.
I would settle for no eye bags, forget the bright eyes and bushy tale bit.
Sorry rant over but it is by far the biggest disappointment of stopping drinking no weight loss and tired all the time etc.
Still one fine day and all
Hugs Jo and take care

Hi all- hugs for poorly people, get well soon.
Jo- I don't think you are going behind OH back, you are just mentioning something that his Gp can keep in mind (confidentially of course) next time he sees him. Lots of people I know go into appointments with their OH just to make sure they are telling the truth!!!
Welcome new people, seems like you are steaming ahead...BHB, your garden and pool look lovely, what a good idea to put it in the tunnel.
Good luck everyone tonight, Eselt0 -
BB, re the weight thing, I was disappointed as well to start with and couldn't think why I wasn't losing weight when I'd stopped all those extra calories (liquid and stupid things eaten when under the influence!). I'm 10 months dry now though and have lost almost 2 stone yay! I think it takes a while for everything to sort itself out to start with so stick with it!

Evening everybody! BB's colours looked so pretty, thought I'd use some myself...
BB: Hope you are feeling better. You have a lot to cope with at the moment, with Mr BB still not having found a new job - it's probably always at the back of your mind, which can be energy-draining. :A47 is not old - believe me!!! My friend's husband has started doing some voluntary work, keeps him busy and he's hoping it might lead to something paid eventually - I think he's 53. At least you've got some time off work at the end of the month, so you will be able to treat yourself and rest then.
Orchid: It must have been horrible for you when your little one ran out of the cafe. It's only when we start thinking what could have happened that it is so scary. Anyway, it didn't happen and I'm sure she's all tucked up in beddy-boes now. My DD1 is out with friends in Manchester city centre tonight - she had AS history this morning - then she's staying at her friend's house - I will be happy when I know she's back safely. My 3 teenage girls think I'm such a fusspot, but I do worry about them, there are so many horrible things out there.
Annie: well done for chucking the beer away, but remember :money:!!!!
Best wishes to everybody else. I hope the people feeling under the weather feel much better tomorrow. I LOVE your garden BHB - lots of space for your children to run around in. And that pool .....WOW
