Hello all, ooh a new thread how exciting.:j

I didn't make my target for February and for April but I shall try again.:D

15 days AF for me for May please.

I also would like to lose 7 pounds this month as well.

I'm not massively overweight but I could certainly do with eating less chips and more salad.:rotfl:

Not a good start, today won't be AF for me.

    Good luck everyone.:A

    April final scores

    Name Target/30 Actual/30

    y :j
    sleepyjo ?? 13 :j

So collectively we've achieved well over 80% of our target of 378 days. I think that's marvellous! Well done everybody :T:T. I'll update this post with any more final scores that come in. sleepyjo is that right, or are you on more? budgie, you'll do an outstanding job in May, I have absolutely no doubt. I suspect you'll be rather more proactive at marshalling the troops than I ;).

Hi happy shopper i had - what you said 13 days out of 14 - so not too bad, but as i said last night, i am now alcohol free! and have given up for good-if i can.
even though i was very very tempted, took mum (81) to hospital for check up - she has alziemers and soesn't know any of us any more and my dad (84) who is going the same way - probably due to looking after mum, but she was being a real handful, worse than any child and she wouldn't get into the car, for us to go to the hospital, took me over 10 minutes to persuade her to sit inside, then she was in a grumpy mood all morning, took them out for lunch afterwards and she wouldn't eat her dinner, wouldn't get back inside the car, etc, etc - i kinow it isn't her fault and it is the illness, but i come back so wound up, usually i call at the off liscence and get stocked up, ready to come home to - but i didn't of course today, came home and poured myself a large lime and lemonade and sat and drank that and thought back to happier times, when i was younger with her as my mum and not the stranger she thinks i am today!
sorry that is my rant over with - sometimes you just have to let it out or in the past get drunk instead!
good work on keeping all the figures together, you are amazing:T
I am going to be 31/31 for may

    Evening All !

It has been a gorgeous day here and it has set me in a good mood to start the May 31 Day Challenge.

My delivery arrived from Holland & Barratt this morning so I am off to a good start. God they are big - I am not very good at swallowing big things!

I left work early today so that I could spend some time in the garden with a nice cold drink ! I bought a lovely tall glass from M&S ( cost 50p and its really pretty) to drink all those long cool non-alcoholic drinks over the coming month. Today I am drinking ginger and lemongrass cordial topped with lemonade , chopped strawberries, oranges & Mint . It is very , very nice . I am just pretending it is a Pimms ( minus the Pimms of course)!!

To be honest I have no desire to drink alcohol tonight even though DH has nipped out to buy himself some beers :j. A good start to the month.

Have a lovely , Sunny weekend everyone .

    Evening all

Despite all my good intentions, the wine bells have been clanging VERY loudly this evening. Just made myself a cup of earl grey to try and take the urge away. After tea I will look up Kudzu I think. Need all the help I can get!

Good start....clanging bells on the first day of the month!:o:rolleyes:

    xx
