Perish the thought, I hope you and the Dear Lurky family are having a fab old weekend and that it is sunny. Its lovely and bright here and Budgie is looking forward to the Grand Prix and a BBQ later
So hugs matey and of course lots a love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I wouldn't dream of such a thing!!! I did Sunday to Weds AF... I updated for Tuesday, then nothing.... check my posts... go on, check.
Lurky, did you have tablets for your dodgy ears?
Nope - not a sausage. Though dunno what I'd have done if he HAD given me a sausage..... :rotfl:
He did a few tests, shook my head about a bit, syringed my ears then packed me off with a 'if it is still the same in a couple of weeks, come back'. Cleared up a few days later (and this was a Harley St specialist, not some local quack)Problem that I have my dear, is that I can't decide between 2 people :undecided
:wave: :wave::rotfl: :rotfl:
What are we voting on again, Budgie?Neigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

I just know if I wasn't on these tablets that my evening would be very very difficult, OH has gone out and won't be home till after I've gone to bed which means I'm left to my own devices (and the remote
), it's hard enough on the tablets but I'm scared what would happen to me if I drunk on them so shall not bother.

Chin up chaps - just think of us poor scottish folks, most of us will be at work tomorrow.
Watching washing on line getting soggier by the second, where did the sunshine go.
Back to the books - thanks for all the support over my moany groany ing - OH said it was a delight to see me awake at the end of a movie last night (most unusual).
Jo well done on the self enforced alcohol free evening and the control of the remote
Hugs to all of you whatever you are upto

Hi all, hope you are all OK, especially SEA, please post SEA- we are a thread of worriers I'm afraid and we panic if people don't let us know how they are.
Jo, hope the ears are a little better, I remember my mum once had something called 'labrythitis' which meant her balance completely went- she had to crawl down the road on all fours after a night shift as when she stood up she couldn't balance and keep falling over- even though her work was just at the end of the street loads of people saw her struggling and thought she was drunk! Very weird things ears.
Budgie-hope you had a fab time with son, you are such a lovely person and thanks for scoring and thinking of us all.
GlasgowG- I have been toying with the idea of being vegetarian after reading a thread on OS about worms in tuna fish steaks, the thread has loads of meat/fish related horror stories- the comments on tapeworms made me want to throw up.
Good luck tonight everyone.0 -
Hope you're feeling better Fay? x
Work sucks, seriously thinking of jacking it in - but onwards and upwards at the moment, otherwise am OK - bit odd being sober around OH - but overall its been OK and not the nightmare I had imagined (he's not that bad, its just me who gets in an odd place about someone turning up and 'invading' my space!!)
Why does he put up with me? Food probablyhe loves to eat and I love to cook.
He did alot of drugs when he was younger - none now though for over 15 years - and whilst he can pick up anything and then just leave it - there was something he use to take that once he started he couldnt leave - so I had a bit of a hook with him to talk about how I feel about alcohol.
I don't open up much - (excpet on here you poor folks) so he found it quite strange that I did open up a bit.I htink it went ok?

Completely knackered now. Too knackered to go in the pool Budgie :rotfl:
