They're stationery box, in the antiques section can be pretty expensive. The places that sell the naked mdf, or ply things might be a good place to look.
It's gorgeous isn't it, it loooks like a little bit of fresh summer air.0 -

I bought this little table at the car boot on Sunday and here it is almost finished. I've ordered a little pink cut glass knob off ebay to replace the old metal one so will replace it as soon as that arrives (this morning, hopefully!).
I've got it in my hallway at the moment ('in situ' photo here) but it's looking a little bit lost. Hopefully when I move house there'll be room for it somewhere!
Wow that is so lovely. I REALLY love the way you have decorated the hall. The mirrors look fabulous. I am going to check out your whole blog what an inspiration. Back soon :j
Ok just one question Where oh Where can I get this wallpaper from? - Sorry Bittibob for stealing your picture but needed to show what I am talking about. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/bibbitybob/PB150413.jpgSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Im going to strip it down and see what the wood is like under the muck and see if I need to paint, it is for my fabric (Im usually in the sewing room).
I live in a 17th centry cottage with my partner and we are slowly doing it up and I just love the country look. We ripped the hardboard off the stair wall the previous owner put on and under it is the old tongue and groove with a tiny window.
I found this seller on Ebay that Im going to get some bits from (the stuff is beautiful, I love hearts)

Thank you so much for the ebay link. Ordered two items from them and they are just as pretty as their photos!

I looked at those they are gorgeous. I got a door plaque sign and a little bundle of 3 wooden hearts with various words on like 'home sweet home' 'live laugh love' etc. really good quality. In the process of shabby chic'ing' our bedroom and having decorated and painted I'm now buying lots of pretty things to put in it

Oh what a totally lovely thing to say, thank you!
The wallpaper is from Laura Ashley - only £12.15 a roll in the sale at the moment too. It is gorgeous irl, and went up so so easily, excellent quality.0 -
hart44 thanks for that link. what gorgeous bit's. have to agree the hearts are lovely.
well i've started to sand my dresser. The wood is gorgeous underneath. so i am now really thinking i am just gonna wax it rather than paint it. it has lost the orange hue it had to it from the grimey varnish which was all over it.0 -
For those who have commented on my hallway...thank you! And I thought you might like to see the 'before' photo
pretty much the whole place was dark brown, including all the previous owner's furniture. Yikes!

Wow, I was impressed to start with, now I am amazed. I am currently decorating my brand new flat (all magnolia and very boxy) so you have given me so well needed oomph to carry on.
