I know, you are so right Kaz! I am slightly addicted to eBay, think I've replaced buying toiletries with buying shabby chic things lol.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Hi again
Earlier this week I managed to track down the tins I had seen whilst on holiday! I indulged myself and bought the cake tins, tray and the tea, coffee and sugar caddies - they came yesterday and are so gorgeous! They all have a lovely inscription on the lid relating to what they are for.

I've been decorating the girls' bedroom this week - repainting the pink walls to freshen them up and have painted the wardrobe white (from orangey pine) - it looks lovely now with the knobs I got off Ebay last year:

the ones I got were pink with white stars on.
I am just now painting some old drawers to use as box shelves on the wall. Still lots to do...Thrifty Gifty February make £20 challenge £21.05/£20.0 -

I've just seen patchwork-style pillow shams (quilted) in Aldi. 2 for £4.99. Available in blue, pink, brown& green combi. Thought someone might be interested, could be used to make cushion covers?:)The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

There's quite a few scented drawer liners on Ebay:

You could try some lavender bags, pot pourri or maybe even bowls/pots of bicarb to try and get rid of the musty smell.Dum Spiro Spero0 -
fantastic , thankyou. just purchased some scented bags. then once smell gone i'll buy some drawer liners. so i don't have lots of different scents going on in the dresser.0
