Im going to strip it down and see what the wood is like under the muck and see if I need to paint, it is for my fabric (Im usually in the sewing room
).
I live in a 17th centry cottage with my partner and we are slowly doing it up and I just love the country look. We ripped the hardboard off the stair wall the previous owner put on and under it is the old tongue and groove with a tiny window.
I found this seller on Ebay that Im going to get some bits from (the stuff is beautiful, I love hearts
)

That is lovely, I was watching one just like it on ebay - it sold for £40Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
oh that dresser is gorgeous. my mil came round today , she loves my dreser and is so inspired to strip and paint her one. she has a gorgeous 4 door ducal dresser but it is a dark dark pine. and as her dining room so small she wants to lighten it up. but it nice having a mil who likes what i like and can enjoy doing the crafts together.0

looks like I wont make it after all. I am so jealous. I love antique fairs and every time one comes up I cant make it.
I love Pembs too. Travel there for work a lot and keep thinking I would definitely move there! Not that I dont love where I live.Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons.
