Just contact the admin, they will sort it out, wont you. Grrrrrr

It's such a shame as I gave up completely and the woman who runs it is fab. You can also separate things as on here you have to have everything crafty/inspirational in one thread.

I must be one of the lucky ones as I got registered with the SC Cafe with only a few problems . I understand what you are saying about separate topics Gangstabird (and I do visit SCC occasionally)but a thread like this seems to move a bit faster. The people posting on SCC are so nice that you get one picture of a makeover and then the rest of the thread is all congratulations! Don't get me wrong I'm not against good manners but on here we seem to have more about the actual projects, questions, advice etc. Each to his own.

    Ginga,
I find remnant bins in fabric shops (curtain departments are good for this) are excellent places to look for patchworking material.
And in charity shops, look at the clothing bits, some of them can be cut up to make good squares!

Thanks for that will check them out ..

    Hi everyone
wanted to say to gingababe - I dont know where you are but look in auction rooms for wardrobes - 'brown' (wooden) furniture is not selling well at the moment and you can pick up solid stuff for peanuts or try antique fairs too.

Thanks for that will have to check it out. I am in the west mids, so if anyone knows anywhere, please let me know...

    Thanks

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=160333473823
(will have to be quicks its ebay and ending soon!) and theres a lovely quilt there....did you make it MV?

Am currently distressing my dressing table and stool and was intending using green under the white but a rumage in the basement has brought up some blue paint and a selection of corals/terracotas and am not sure which to use!
    Any suggestions?

Hi In Search of Me...no I didn't...wish I was that clever!! I actually bought it from Ebay. I think it's quite an old one, it's in lovely condition.
