If I can work it out I'll post up some pics of my kitchen, and my shabby chic bits and bobs. Finished painting a new shelf last night in F&B Matchstick..it looks lovely..amazing what you can do with a piece of old wood and some paint!

So far I have rescued 2 chairs, a dumbwaiter cut down into a side table, 2 bedside cabinets, a set of shelves and a small round table using F&B Matchstick. Lovely stuff!

hmmm funnily enough that doesn't look like matchstick at all! It's far less grey and more creamy coloured.

It goes very well with our pink smeg fridge :D

Finally tracked down some of my shabby photos on Flickr (I was looking on Photobucket duh!!)

Not read through this thread yet (still plodding through the old one) but just wanted to share my excitement!
After asking my gran's advice on how to make a cover for my footstool she has offered to do me a patchwork cover for it with the old remnants she still has lying about from when she was a seamstress (she did a lot of clothes for me and my family and the clothes for raggedy annie dolls!)
    woo hooo

Oh I am so happy that this thread is going again. I am going to strip a blanket box back & paint it. Looking for wardrobes for dd bedroom, & they are so expensive & mostly self assembly, so I am now on the hunt in charity or antique shops, to see if I can find domething then I will strip & paint.... oh I am getting the bug again, does anyone know where the best place is to get material for patchworking???

Forgive my ignorance, but how do you post pics on here??

Do you have to host them on Flickr first?
