Hi Princess Vix
These are on Amazon at the moment at a cheaper price than this even with the P&P and they are new. They do have reviews so you could see what others thought of them.
Hope that helps.

The "mini dolls houses" are actually bird houses for the garden - I thought they were great, wouldn't mind having a couple in our garden but couldn't quite justify it at the moment.
I got the Cath Kidston MAKE book out of my library - very meh, I thought. Basic, basic stuff and, to be honest, the only thing that made it look anything like decent was the fabric.
Talking about things Cath Kidston, our local Lovely Things shop (if you've ever seen Absolutely Fabulous, you'll know that this is a generic term for the sort of stuff you get in glossy home magazines) sells ranges by Think Pink, which is definitely Cath Kidston-esque but notably cheaper (though not cheap-cheap except in their sales, where you can pick up really brilliant bargains. I particularly like this and I bought a really wonderful set of cake tins from them last year which have sadly been discontinued, but they come up with new Lovely Things each season - and not too pricy, on the whole.0 -

Union Jack - TKMaxx in Liverpool today had a lot of lovely union jack cushions - I took a photo of them but not quite sure how to upload, they also had a fair amount of other ShabbyChic things including some mini wooden american petrol pump things (that I really want!)

Hi, it was my birthday yesterday and after having dropped some big hints to DH and the children, they brought me a red wire egg basket from BHS - really nice and very handy for when our eggs have built up over a few days! I think they are around £8 in store.
SIL also bought me a set of white tin style plant pots in a tray - will look very nice on my kitchen window.Thrifty Gifty February make £20 challenge £21.05/£20.0 -

Hi...
I'm a bit of a newbie to all this (i.e. I've never ever attempted to paint my own furniture!) but looking for a bit of advice. I have looked everywhere for a white/cream desk but so far all I can find are rubbish overpriced melamine rubbish that chips/falls apart very quickly.
Do you think it would be easy enough to sand down and paint something like this -
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Corona-PC-Computer-Desk-laptop-table-Pine-Wood-NEW_W0QQitemZ230446806227QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Home_Garden_HomeOfficeFurniture_SM?hash=item35a7b334d3
? Or not? x0 -
I would ask them if it is unfinished as it might not be sealed. If it is sealed you will need to sand it down but I can't see any problem if it's solid pine rather than pine coloured chip board.Feb GC: £200 Spent: £190.790
