Lol - I though everyone knew what a lazy mare I was by now:o
I used International wipe on Multi surface primer!0 -
Vicki, how many coats of paint do you do and how long do you leave between coats? You paint so quickly!0

lol, trust me i can be very lazy. once i start a project i like it finished within a few min's.
so this wipe on stuff, does it come in like a pack of wipes and you wipe it over then can paint ? or is it a paint your put on with brush ? just so i know what i'm looking for in b&Q. might get a few jobs finished if i can cheat a little,lol.0 -
This unit took 4 coats, I left 4 hours between coats as per the tin but quite often it was longer. I didn't sand between coats for this one as the brush marks were minimal and I'm going to be distressing a bit anyway so will do it all at the end.
P.S. I did start out SCing with such good intentions of doing it properly but I really hurt my finger with the power sander and I have been too cowardly to use it again!0 -
I only bought it because it was £5 a tin on clearance in B&Q. It wipes on with a cloth and you wipe of 5 mins earlier.
It's in a red tin, it does say though not to use with water based paint but it seems fine and a few people online have reported great results with water based so I gave it a go.
Go back a few pages for the full detailed analysis!0 -
