All New Shabby Chic Thread!

Inspired by this thread I have painted all my pine bedroom furniture. Only primer/undercoat so far, but top coat tomorrow. Its really exciting.
BTW those bread baskets are fantastic.

It's back in place for the moment, I'm really busy with the real life job so not had chance to sand it anymore (although I did get the sanding block out the garage this evening!).

Spent tonight painting the bathroom in Dulux 'mercury shower 5' (pic of colour on my blog, but no photos until we've finished some more!). I absolutely love it and am even allowed to put my chrome chandelier up in there :T

I tend to buy LA stuff in their sales.:j Picked up some paint and light fittings recently.

B&Q have some nice rugs, and might be worth trying Wilkinson's, Dunelm or Tesco too. Could you post a pic of the LA one you like and we can try find you something similar!

although i'm not a UJ fan. i love the purple next rug. having said that i do love purple. hence alot of my clothes, jewellery and lounge ,i love the colour.

I just won a "walldrobe" on ebay for 99p - I'm not sure how hard it will be to fix the edge that's broken but I thought a go and prime for a SC makeover. It was one I was thinking of bidding for for DS's room but have that now so I might use in the spare room or even back on ebay if it's good enough.
