THe wardrobe is from the little white company, the don't make the exact same one anymore. We bought one for E and then when H arrived 2 1/2 years later they stopped making it. They were very good though and good one made or us although the quality wasn't quite as good.
The shelving was from halfcost.co.uk think it cost about £25, I think it originated from letterbox where is would have sold for about £100! Letterbox still do similar ones but they are very expensive and I cetainly wouldn't pay that much..0 -
It's all gorgeous, as is everyone else's makes.
Lurking a bit recently. My dear old dog had to be put to sleep 24 days ago, all really sudden & horrible, not really stopped crying yet.
Anyway, what dud you use to stick your oilcloth to the bed side table? Or is it just sitting there?
Sorry to hear about your dog. I lost mine about the same time. The second one in 10 months, neither was totally unexpected though which makes it a little easier. I still have 4 dogs and I know what you mean about them helping. Mine just love to add a few hairs to whatever I'm painting.0 -

I've had a busy evening, moved the contents of the 'office' room from the box room to the middle bedroom...it was just far too impractical and no sewing room  it's almost done, just need OH's help to move the heavy bits, but he's busy tiling the bathroom wall so I can't complain too loud
Whilst I was shifting stuff I found a pair of curtains in one of OH's still packed boxes. They're brand new and still in the packet but he'd bought the wrong size and not bothered to return them. They were the wrong size for our windows but I took off the heading tape and turned them around so the length became the width and now I have a brand new pair of curtains for the office :T they're a lovely cream fabric with a red and pink toile pattern so I think when the room is eventually decorated it will be around them.
there is nothing more wonderful than having a "find":T
in our house they are called "luckies"
stemmed from when my little boy was about3, and collected everything!
he kept them all in sweetie jars and called them his luckies:rotfl:
because he thought it was lucky he found them0 -

Lovely bedroom Shirl, a little girls dream. Bet you dont have any trouble with her going to bed at night!
xxvickixx love the corner unit and you got to grips with the esp....great isnt it. I have a huge bookcase with those sort of windows, and the dark brown varnish, that I am going to be doing up.
Thanks to whoever mentioned taking the glass out and putting a piece of board behind it. Wouldnt
have thought of that.0 -

Haven't done anything since last post - been a bit lazy! Got a few ideas, but no get-up-and-go at the moment
Hoping to find a dresser for in my hallway but they're going through a silly money phase - I shall wait a little while methinks!"A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper
