Vicki has seen my chairs including when only one was varnished. Come on Vicki back me up here you can't tell the difference can you?
No you really can't tell. It convinced me to do mine anyway.
Shirl I was watching that mirror but decided not to as I really couldn't fit it in my bedroom. We will be bidding against each other soon you know!
I also almost asked you for something that was on Freecycle today and then realised it was you!0 -

Not very interesting....I did try to put jellybean napkins (For my DD1 bedroom) on the top but they were too crinkly IYKWIM. So removed and painted.

I see why you put tango'd - lol - it certainly looks much much better the new way - did it take you a long time? I was painting what seems like most of the weekend in between family things and taking little one for a walk - but I am pleased with how its going so far! Well done you!0

Wow, that was very orange, looks lovely now. Maybe you can use the jelly bean napkins to cover card hearts and make a garland or cover card triangles and make bunting. Or cover tubes for storage so that they look like jars of sweets. Empty single malt tubes would be perfect.
I've not done much lately, I can't decide what to do next and everything seems too much hassle and I don't know where to start.
I have a choice between:
Finishing off the swags and tails - excuse is that I need to buy more lining fabric and wood so I wouldn't be able to get them finished and don't want to take down the WIP until I can complete the job.
Making the last two seat pads - excuse the last two chairs are guest chairs and are out of sight out of mind. I'm bored of making them now.
Covering the footstool - I don't know where to start and am scared of doing it wrong. It's a cube type with legs.
Finish painting the chairs - zzzzzzzzzz
Turn the single duvet cover hanging in the kitchen into a proper curtain - I have an awkward window/door arrangement and can't work out what to do.
Lots of nice projects I could start and finish however for DS bedroom, bunting, curtain to his "den" under his bed etc.
What has eveyone else got on their "to do" list and what excuses have you come up with!0 -

The drawers look fab, bargainbird!
I've got a loong list, vikki. Although we got the office moved to the middle bedroom yesterday so now I've got no excuse not to get things done.
Finish sanding/distressing the UJ bureau - no excuse other than I've put it back in place and can't be bothered to move it out again!
Wardrobes. I've bought the wood so just need to cut it and fix on, then paint the entire thing.
Grout bathroom tiles.
Fix up pictures and mirrors around the house - excuse is I'm scared of putting them in the wrong place, but that's stupid as every room is getting re-decorated anyway!
Plate rack needs painting. Excuse is I need the storage more than I need it to look pretty.
Filing cabinet needs painting and/or covering.
Light fittings need taking down from old flat and fixing up here.
Wire shelf for bathroom needs another coat of spray paint.
My excuse is manic work! My only day off this week was spent at the car boot (although made £60 in 3 hours so can't complain!) and moving office around. Only one more week of madness and then it should be much calmer and I can tackle a giant to do list.0
