I can't remember who used some transfer/decal type things a while ago, I think it was a coat peg thing made out of a scrap of wood.
Anyway I think they sounded like they use these a fair bit and wanted some info on suppliers and what type to go for.
    Thanks

    Hi xxvickixx
it was me that made the hooks from scrap wood and used the transfers on them. I got them off ebay from this seller http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Decorative-Decals-Transfers

They are very easy to use and loads to choose from :D

My mum has now gone home so back to finishing my kitchen :D then I can show you all :D
Oh Im working on the tray (the one with the yellowy varnish pic) too :rotfl:
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

    Hi all

I have been googling for ESP and have found a supplier in the UK that does a version suitable for BOTH oil and water-based finishes:

Well the wardrobe turned into a disaster. The seller contacted me yesterday saying that it wasn't in Witham which is a couple of miles away but it was in Epping which is over 20. DH passes there on the way home though so he went to collect but it wouldn't fit in his car. If it was locally we could have asked a friend with a van to pick it up but it's too far for that. DH said that the door was going to be a oain to fix anyway so the sale is off. Ah well!

Lovely room shirlgirl - from what I can see the wardrobes/drawers are lovely! Where were they from please?

I've had a busy evening, moved the contents of the 'office' room from the box room to the middle bedroom...it was just far too impractical and no sewing room  it's almost done, just need OH's help to move the heavy bits, but he's busy tiling the bathroom wall so I can't complain too loud :D

Whilst I was shifting stuff I found a pair of curtains in one of OH's still packed boxes. They're brand new and still in the packet but he'd bought the wrong size and not bothered to return them. They were the wrong size for our windows but I took off the heading tape and turned them around so the length became the width and now I have a brand new pair of curtains for the office :T they're a lovely cream fabric with a red and pink toile pattern so I think when the room is eventually decorated it will be around them.

I finally finished my 'director' chair & photographed it ...then spent the morning tidying up my Shabby flickr, maybe you'd like a look:

The furniture is all in use, the bag would be but I finally got a 'real' Cath bag!

It's all gorgeous, as is everyone else's makes.
Lurking a bit recently. My dear old dog had to be put to sleep 24 days ago, all really sudden & horrible, not really stopped crying yet.
Anyway, what dud you use to stick your oilcloth to the bed side table? Or is it just sitting there?

Oh that's really sad, it's always awful to lose a pet but when it's sudden and unexpected it's so, so much harder. Hugs x

I am loving someone's little girls room, absolutely gorgeous. I'm doing my kitchen at the moment, other dog's gone to my brothers for a few days as I'm stripping the paint off my built in dressers & she likes to sit under my feet, not good with either chemicals or hot paint dropping on her. It's being a bit of a pain to do, my ladders got rubbish treads so am standing on a chair & can only just reach the top bits. Hopefully pics dreckley!

At long last I can show you pics of what I've been up to. Apologies to Vicki who has already seen it all.

DDs room just because I love it. No before pic because the OH has it hidden somewhere on the pc.
