We manage ok without them, but i want something pretty for my cutlery at the moment it's in a chrome stand that came with some cutlery - Any ideas

    xx

How about a pretty jug - maybe an enamel one? I have one to hold my utensils (wooden spoons etc). My washing up bowl is a cheap asda smartprice cream one, it's lasted me well but it's looking like it needs a replacement once we move (yes, we're still waiting ).

I have a cream washing up bowl. but I have to admit to hating bowls and dish drainers I think they are ugly no matter what you try to do with them.I too have an old enamel jug for my utensils and a smaller spotty jug for teaspoons (well a girl needs to have one handy for the cups of tea).

I am not telling my age! but I live with my fab OH in a small village in West Wales. We are very lucky to share life with a big ditzy Great Dane called Moo and a bonkers African Grey parrot called Coco. I work full time and travel all over Mid and West Wales and head to Cardiff regularly. So if any ladies in West Wales here want to offer me cuppas on my journey:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Nice to 'meet' you all.

It's not very money saving but i have to show off this gorgeous light fittng. My aunt has bought it or me, to go over my dining table. http://www.johnlewis.com/230483280/Product.aspx . i can't wait for it to arrive!

Two more dillemas today, my dining table an chairs are all bare pine. I cant decide whether to varnish them a darker wood shade, clear varish them, or paint them with a gloss. Any ideas?

Also, my computer will have to lie n the ining room, but it wi look ugly. I'm trying to think up something clever to hide it, maybe a cabinet with doors, or a screen?

What reduced from £48.40 to £20 & you got someone else to buy it for you, how MSE do you need to be? Love it.

Love everyone's stuff, that cd rack is gorgeous.

danem1, if you go to your blog pic online, right click on it then click properties. Copy and paste the address url of the pic, then come back here and when you use the quick reply box on this website, first of all click on the yellow square above where you write (if you hover over it it will say "insert image") then paste the address of your pic.

    Hope this makes sense.
