I'm loving those trolleys...
*must stop wanting things for a house that will never be big enough*
My silver plastic washing up bowl and matching drainer are really ruining the mojo in my freshly painted kitchen, any ideas? Asda do a Smart Price cream plastic version which I had before but it cracked within a week. I'm thinking of a pastel plastic?
What do you have in your kitchens?0 -

My mil and her friend went to a car boot this week and found me a sewing machine!whoop whoop means I can give my sis back hers that she lent me (quite a while ago)

Kandipand - How strange, that is exactly my fireplace! Yours looks brilliant I think i'll go for it.
Got some fab bargais at banardos today , a 4ft by 4ft mirror with a chunky wooden frame for £3.99. It's painted gold at the minute so I need to decide what to do with it. I am tempted to try fabric. Also got a 2ft by 2ft silver framed mirror for my bathroom for £1.99 and a greenand cream toile de jouy tea service with side plates for £4.99. It will look fab on my dresser.
I love those trolleys, and what amazing ebay bargains you have found!Hope you are al wellMembre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -
Have you done a 'getting to know you' kind of thing?
I'll blah on about myself anyway haha.
I'm 27, have two children a girl aged 3 and a boy aged 4. (theres less than a year between them, eek) My son has autism but hes on the lower end of the spectrum so we cope quite well. I lived in London for 9 years and moved just last month back up north to be around my family. I'm loving the slower pace of life.
Can't wait to show off whe nI've done all the hard work haha.Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -
Actually a friend suggested John Lewis today and I said that I was thinking more Wilkinsons! But actually those aren't too dear, shame the colours aren't quite right though.
I'd quite like pink but maybe light blue to keep DH happy too!0 -
I've got a cream metal two tier drainer. It has a cream metal cutlery drainer that hooks onto the side. I'll try and take a pic tomorrow
It's covered in dishes right now
I got it about 2 month ago in B & M Bargains for £9.99 :j0 -
Luxor, yes it turns into a table. I'm thinking a table to keep jigsaws on instead of the dining table covered in a table cloth. But it's a little bigger than I first so I'm having trouble finding somewhere to put it, whoops! Your trollies are lovely btw.
I got a lovely red washing up bowl and drainer from Wilkinsons a few months back. I quite liked the turquoise when I first saw it but OH hated it.
Starlite, how would you go about covering a mirror with fabric? You just reminded me I stashed a CS £2 bargain mirror a little while ago. I'd forgotten about it lol
Good idea about introductions.
I'm 37, live in a semi rural bit of Essex , DH & I have a lovely 12 year old son & the most stupid Staffordshire bull terrier that was ever born and we are owned by 2 elderly and slightly senile cats. I work part time for a local council.0 -
We have a plain white washing up bowl, We have NO drawers in the kitchen! - Don't ask when we bought the house we didn't realise right until we were unpacking and I was looking for a junk drawer and there's none! We manage ok without them, but i want something pretty for my cutlery at the moment it's in a chrome stand that came with some cutlery - Any ideas
Starlite - A lovely idea about introducing, I also have a 4 yr old DS who was born with a rare condition but many of his "ways" are a mirror image of Autism (Lower Spectrum)
