Oooh ShirlGirl, I'm looking for a dining table. I want a round one that extends with a pedestal leg. If yours fits the bill and you're mid essex I'm interested!
Sorry this is this one but yes I think we live pretty close. I've heard you talk of the main town which I used to live in and I recently moved a 20 minute drive away but still go through regularly. One like you describe went so cheaply the other day on Ebay if only I'd known you were interested.

Have you seen Deckchairstripes? They've got a fab range of stripey fabric and they will send you samples.
    Thanks I'll check them out.

It's the Essex Girl's take over! Might get back onto ebay and have a poke around for bargains. Although I really should be getting on with other stuff as the housework won't do itself lol
I you pm me when you're bidding I won't bid against you. This is supposed to be MSE after all.

As I posted the table listing I thought I may as well show the sewing box. It needs to be relined so I've ordered a book from the library that I hope will give me the know how.

Gorgeous sewing box, shame about the table, I only started looking a couple of days ago.

I finally plucked up the courage to talk to DH about our furniture downstairs. We bought about 5 years ago our furniture that was supposed to be the stuff we kept forever. It's really big, solid and expensive but then we downsized our house and it's far too big for the space we have now. I can't see us being in a house big enough to accomodate it for several years...so I decided that after seeing the transformations on here that it was viable to sell and buy some cheap but solid replacements to do up, although heartbreaking to sell it does make sense.

    DH agreed!

I'm on the look out for:
    - round dining table that extends with a pedestal leg
    - 6 chairs

and something to out the tv in or on so small sideboard, or tv cabinet.

and maybe a small dresser, just because it would be lovely.

And finally I'd love a pretty headboard fora Kingsize bed.

Please shout if you know of any going super cheap anywhere near Chelmsford or on the route to Luton!

    Ta xx
