No idea what the law says, but would imagine that as it is half your house you retain access rights, even if you are renting your half to his mate.0

Well this is what i thought but he is being an !!!! with me and dont know what i can do. He expects me to sign my half of the morgage over to him!!!:kisses2:to find a rainbow you must go through the rainto find true love you must go through the pain0

You are still liable for half the mortgage but you are entitled to half of the rent his mate is paying.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Well our morgage payment alone is £604.40 a month!! then there is bills i would of thought what his mate (Pete) is paying would just cover this and bills. grrrrr what a mess!!:kisses2:to find a rainbow you must go through the rainto find true love you must go through the pain0

Are you still paying the mortgage? If so then you still have a right of access to the property...you need legal advice and now!!
If you have car insurance or are a member of a union they sometimes offer legal assistance helplines - you also have Citizen's Advice - get your rights in writing, and then you can decide what you want to do.
Could it be worth getting him to buy you out? In a falling market it might not be a bad thing and you might actually be better off at the end of the day...If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

The house is in negitive equity at the moment. I lived there Jan- Easter sunday on my own and all he gave me was half the morgage didt contribute to bills at all.:kisses2:to find a rainbow you must go through the rainto find true love you must go through the pain0
