((hugs)) greent, I can't even begin to know how you feel... But I contemplated going in on my own when I had Aimee... When it came to it I took my sister in... Don't worry about pooping in front of friends... A good friend will stay at the head end and not even acknowledge anything other than a baby coming out of the other end!
My baby is moving a lot lot less too... Started to get a bit worried Tuesday because it only moved about twice before I saw the midwife... But the heartbeat was ok... And then it moved allllllllll night long...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

ooooh greent sounds like things are progressing, will they offer a sweep that early?
I kinda have it in my head that this baby is gonna be awkward but i really just want labour to start so i know all is well, if it doesnt then i have a consultant appt at term +2 and mw hasnt booked anything further, havent actually met my consultant yet thou, just a junior doc and then some other guy????
Searching im of the mind that we are all allowed our own opinions, obviously some are more founded than others but ive no experience of anythig like this so I wont comment.:j

Seems like there are a few bubs on their way in the not too distant future - fingers crossed for all of you
BTW, my GP sent the letter of referral last Tuesday to the new PCT - how soon should I make contact with them (if at all)? Wasn't sure how long these thing take. Would like to visit the birth centre sometime soon.MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

Greent forgot to say, if youre getting on 'ok' with hubby then maybe better to have him there than noone, at least he can fetch and carry for you.
Anyone else got a back to back bubs??? i just cant quite work out where he is but im getting poked far left, under left ribs and to the right of my belly button, have tried all fours but man thats uncomfatable!!:j

Yes at the moment every twinge is making me think "ooo could it be???"
I try not to show it on my face as Dh is hovering over me thinking that if he misses the first contractions I might magically give birth at home in floods of blood and gore and he'll pass out and horrid things will happen... bless him!
So far today Roo has been pretty calm though - bit of squidging this morning but nothing near as active as she usually is...
Sadly I can only contact the midwife on tuesdays and thursdays - any other time I have to call the surgery and they will pass on whatever number the MW is on so long as it's in surgery hours... have to say I think that is pretty pants... Ah well I have the number for the delivery suite in JR so they'll be my first port of call! hehehe
Krystal I know what you mean about a different kind of back pain... it's not the "sore niggling" kinda pain... it's almost crushing or stabbing isn't it?
And the pain across the bump was really quite bad - I was actually quite gutted at waking up this morning tooAlthough DH probably wasn't - he had a long day yesterday and was knackered bless him

Candice, I think I only met my consultant once last time and once this time... Every other appointment was with registrars and juniors... Not really bothered because I don't expect she'll be there when I deliver... Plus she's all about clinical intervention....
My midwife has mentioned a sweep on Tuesday if I'm still around... I'll be 40+2 then... But I don't think I'll take her up on the offer... Especially down at the Drs, it's hard enough walking home up the hill without someone rummaging round inside me like they're looking for keys at the bottom of a handbag first...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... greent - only you will know if you'd rather have him with you than no-one
I'd offer to come and stay with you but I have a feeling I might be fairly busy in the near future myself so probably not a lot of good to you...
If it were me I'd not want him there and would rather pick a friend to go with me if at all possible - but I guess it depends on what you want to do about the future too? Have hug from me thoughDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
