Well I'm amazed I'm still with you ladies :) Last night I had such bad pains across the bump and ended up having a shower at about 11 to try and ease some really really severe back pains and honestly thought it was the start of labour  but as there wasn't anything regular I figured I'd go to bed and read and then it seemed to settle so figured I'd get some sleep in case it WAS the real deal and well... here I am  still feel very uncomfy but the cramps across the belly and the lower back pain seems to have eased off so guess I'll be here for a wee bit yet...
Have MW at 2:35 today so we'll see what she says.
DH was supposed to go into the office today to put a slide pack together for a major presentation for a client and he's decided that being 2 hours from home after last night just isn't going to happen - so he's staying home working instead bless him :)
So fingers crossed something starts moving today because I really don't want to go go through as much pain as I did last night every day for another 2 weeks potentially!

    Morning ladies and bumps!

    Any new arrivals overnight?

[Edit:Oh, no, MrsT, I was sure you'd be off somewhere pushing out a small Roo!]

I had the most insanely complicated dreams last night. I've been writing children's short stories for some time, but I think I might make the basics of that dream into a young-adult sort of book. There were some bits of it that were just inappropriate, but they could be toned down into something else.

The main idea was that half a hotel was being stalked by a murderer, and the people who were trying to draw attention to it were either being murdered (if they were in the stalked side of the hotel) or having their rooms sabotaged so they needed to leave if they weren't. I'd probably remove the fact that all my friends seemed to be there (and you were there, and you were there, and you were there......) and perhaps turn it into a thief and not a murderer. Hmm. Something to do during the unfeasibly dragging six weeks between leaving work and having Bellyfrog.

Now I want a microscope. I have a wine rack, I have an Ikea list for changing table and baby storage, I have a To Do list that is incredibly simple for today ... all that's missing's a microscope.

    To Do:

    Sell book/scale/straightener (Me, after 5:30)
    Paper (Me)
    Dishes (Me)
[STRIKE]Clear out under computer desk (Me)
Make a bit more space on the desk in the office (Me)
Look up climate-controlled storage reasonably local (Me)[/STRIKE]
    Email/call them (joint effort)
    Living room (box) (Him)
Clear out pantry of bugs, deceased food, rebuild shelves (Him, ongoing)

SugarSpun - shop around - he was had for £800 - the guy told him it was an investment :p

Edit: i wonder if it was because we saw an episode of the Simpsons yesterday, when Homer buys a talking astrolabe for himself and blows the family's xmas present budget :D

Elle- glad to see you're sticking up for yourself, me and a friend who works in HR were having this conversation the other day about how harassment and bullying are rife in HR because it's so much harder to complain to someone when the official person to complain to is either you or your boss and it's the boss that's the problem!!

Mrs T- it almost sounds like your in some sort of early labour doesn't it? Hopefully midwife will tell you that all these pains have been slowly dilating you and you'll be able to pop Roo out in about 20mins!

I've been having some crazy dreams too, the only one i can remember now was the night before last, we were in a school playing field having a picnic and this baby bear came over to us, the people i was with kept taunting it and i kept telling them to stop because it was dangerous. Then all of a sudden the bear turned on us and tried to slash me and then ran into the school. It then turned into this awful massacre where the bear was killing loads of kids and i was trying to get them out of the school by helping them down the fire escape.
The dream then cut to about a week later where the town was having to take down it's huge mascot statue (which was a giant mechanical bear) because of the massacre....

    it was really upsetting....
