I feel very lucky at the moment as the biggest drama i've had with OH was him being a bit rubbish about making me some food last night...
Right i better go have a shower and get ready for my physio appt, i'm not too bad in the mornings though, it get's worse through the day and then by nighttime i am in lots of pain...oh well....0 -
poor old OHs - they do put up with a lot
I was in a right old funny mood yesterday, one minute having a complete downer, the next happy, doesn't know if he's coming or going or what he should say or do. In the end we listened to music - he was in a rock mood so sang 'sweet child of mine' to Cub (he is under illusion he has a great singing voice, which makes me laugh... hmmm... maybe he's smarter than I thought
) and then watched the Apprentice, which always gets us going.

Morning, thanks for the thoughts. OH insisted on taking Ds to school because we woke late and he (oh) was in a strop .
I asked DS to just make me a bday card at school since OH is also being a 4 letter word about it being my birthday and didn't get DS to write my card.0 -
Tine, you sound like me... Last night my back was really uncomfortable, like period pain back ache rather than compressed because of the baby back ache... Plus I've got constant on off pain at the bottom of my belly... Was extremely disapointed to wake up this morning... Today is the day hubby recons baby will arrive... But I doubt it... It's too late for the baby show anyway... So I might aswell sit here with my box of cadburys fingers and wait for it to kick off when it's ready...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Morning girls,
I dont want to say it but .....i'm fed up......there I said it now!
Had my penultimate NCT class last night and quite honestly apart from meeting some quite nice people who i'm not even sure i'll stay in touch with, it has been a complete waste of time and money (£279 to be exact).
I have learnt nothing new because I already did my reading and I have tapped into the fountain of knowledge that is you wise and wonderful ladies on this thread. In fact I feel that the NCT teacher is missing important stuff out so I keep asking rhetorical questions just so that the rest of the class dont miss out on stuff.
Yesterday we did hand massage. Well whoopee doo! That is obviously an integral part of labour and just what I need when I am in the throws of a blimming contraction. Then we looked at position when we the contractions start. She handed out some cards of positions which were published in 1996!!! There was one of a woman sitting on a metal bucket. Hubby and I cracked up when we got home and I told him to go get the bucket ready!!
I am also fed up of my being told things like ' there is no reason on earth why you cant breastfeed', 'you must have the baby put on your chest straight away and breastfeed immediately', 'you must have the drug to deliver the placenta (expecially if there is someone else waiting for the room)' etc etc. Its my baby and my choice, so there!
I go to the top of the class for having an obedient baby who is the only one who is engaged though! I am going to a 60s ball this weekend so I am hoping to jive her down a bit further!
Hugs to those in need of them.
I dont feel so fed up anymore now I have vented! Thanks for listening xxProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
