... or my dad kindly calls be number 2 (sister is obviously number 1 or Julie woo-lee)..
My Dad refers to us as "Daughter Number One" and "Daughter Number Two"
Just crept back on briefly.. OH came home so I've cheered up a bit. He's finding it funny that I have my La Senza "Grumpy but gorgeous" PJs on

And now I have a new thing to worry about! Thanks Sami!
Is it worth doing a test?
As if trying to find a doula in holiday season weren;t hassle enough!

the main reason I had it done was because of my HB, knowing that if bubs were to suddenly get ill I'd have to call an ambulance not just push a buzzer made me decide it was worth the peace of mind - does that make sense?
The vaginal swap is nothing, but the bum one wasn't something I'll be rushing to do again :undecided my MW did the swbs for me so I felt better about that bit.
Also GBS in ur urine would show up in any sample that had been sent to the hosp in one of those red topped containers (although the main point of concern is if its present in the vagina as that is where bubs will be coming out of)0 -
Come to think of it, I even have my "grumpy but gorgeous" shorts on too!
I have other pants from La Senza which say "Does my bump look big in this?", "It started with a kiss.." and "I love my bump". Very comfy pants!

Well I don't know about the others getting close to due or even over... But I'm still here
WAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!
According to GP they won't do induction till 2 weeks here and I have to say I don't feel particularly comfy with that
having done a lot of research now and spoken to friends who have either been MWs or are training to be MWs I don't feel comfy going more than 2 weeks over as so many risks increase... *sigh* - now how to convince MW on thursday that it's a good plan to do a sweep then?
I got nothing really done yesterday (apart from beating my bejeweled record) - got 2 lots of washing done and dried but that's not really a lot... Was just so tired all day. DH is working from home today (YAY!) so I can try and get down the allotment today without feeling worried about what happens if anything starts
If labour should start down there then DH can be there in less than 2 minutes so as there is no sign of the rain I was promised I shall probably amble down there later... DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Morning all
we're starting the nursery hunt - unfortunately places do seem to get booked up.
Does anyone have any experience of Montessori nurseries btw? We have one near us and a lot of the principles appeal to us (as you might think given I post about the importance of children being able to question their world and develop as individuals) but have no idea what the 'practice' might be like and how children then fit into mainstream school...MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

morning!
i havent got a clue bout nurseries, child minders even how to get a school place! lol!!
there's a nusery right at the end of our street but its' not meant to be that good. the next nearest one closes at 6.30 but sometimes cos we work in the trafford centre and bad traffic we'd be late and i know nurseries hate that!! one was on TV bout 18-24 months ago for bad practice!!
dont know anyone to ask as any new mums i know or mums with small kids are SAHM
and then how do you know that the childminder is good???
ML- i hadnt even thought about all this yet!! wonder if i can convince my mum to move over here ??? or my sister who is qualified to look after children (but in ireland) ....so much tothink bout lol!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0
