that is the question. i dont think he will be able to keep it a secret. tbh he has said that he only wants to find out cos he can and he doesnt want to keep calling the baby 'baby' cos wgen he/she is born we will keep doing it rather that use their name. so i have suggested we use a nickname instead, going to work on that one tonight!

Jillie - glad all went well yday! What time is your scan today?

I am glad we found out - I am already bonding with my son. I always refer to him as 'him' or 'bean'.

Looks like I'm alone on the blood group front then AB+

    It is blood type...

I was wondering about carpel tunnel Tine, but didn't really know quite how it mannifests itself... Will mention it to the midwife today but the chances of her actually doing anything about it or even telling me how to help myself with it are pretty much nil... Just like every time I've mentioned my hip / back pain...

Just asked my friend if she'll be in this afternoon though, she lives halfway between my house and the Drs so I can stop in for a cuppa on my way home... Might not feel quite so much like I'm going to die on the way back!

not sure which is most common but think O is universal - i.e. you can give O to anyone.
Mine is rarest (or so I'm told) so I am always asked to give blood :D

    Morning all,

Been at work since 8am all on my lonesome (except for beanie who is letting her feeling be known about this early morning start by rearranging my insides. Still got another half hour before anyone else gets here.

I am going to do my birth plan tonight and was sent this link by my NCT teacher:

    http://www.birthplan.com/create-birth-plan/

Will try it out but it might be of use to anyone else leaving it to the last minute like me!

Big dose of labour vibes to all those in need.

Searching, O blood is universal, it means it can be given to anyone no matter what their blood type... That's probably why there is a shortage of it...
