sami - there is a monte school in the next town but I'd like her to go into the state system if possible (out of principle but of course financially too!) I can imagine monte nursery kids coping well as they should be independent and self-confident, but I wonder how they'd fit in with all the regulation of mainstream schools. No idea! We're going to visit in 2 weeks' time so should hopefully get a feel for what it's like. I really like the idea of fostering independence and individual competence, particularly for girls. I gather the 'directors' allow children to work things out for themselves first and only step in with guidance when needed, rather than assuming kids just 'can't do it'

Sami, the GBS test should only be 48hrs so mine was done Friday morning and came back yesterday afternoon.

Thanks ladies for your advice yesterday - to cut a long story short i couldnt get through to docs at all after yesterday. OH rang doctors and midwife this morning and i saw a doc this morning - i have been given cream for thrush.

Also my OH found my tortortoise who went awol yesterday, this morning stuck under the shed- he is fine and i am delighted to have him back as the weather is turning tomorrow.

Hoping for an uneventful day today getting me to 6 weeks tomorrow.

I've been meaning to pop in the GPs to see if they've had the faxed result because they will only post the result to moi and I need a 'script but I was a busy bee yesterday (and will be today :undecided) I'm on a sorting everything kick because I have 3 weeks to go as of 2mo :eek:
