So...what shall I have? A french pedicure to match my hands? A mum-to-be massage special? A normal pedicure? Something else?

Wow, Looks very posh and very expensive. Obviously down south;)
Don't know, this minute i could kill for a massage, but think when i get further into my pregnancy will love to go for a manicure and pedicure.
Pedicure because my tiny size 2 feet will soon disappear, due to bump and a manicure, well, because fingers and toes will have to match, won't they. lol

    Am feeling quite jealous now.

Told ya! Bloody typical - better get a hand held fan now before stocks run out :rotfl:

Skinty - go for the massage. I lurve a good massage when I can get OH to do it!

Sami - When I went to the Sale, I asked if they had any maternity stuff in the Sale. She said not in the sale but normal stuff so I would think they do.

Well the free lunch consisted of crappy sandwiches so got 2 bags of crisps to go with them and now 2 chocolate muffins to last me til I get home!!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Aww! I'm lucky cos for Christmas and birthday I collected the voucher off OH and the cash off Mum (who was worried about buying vouchers in case they went bust) and I've been waiting to use them.

Yes, it is down south, the prices are crazy really but the girls are very well-trained and so lovely - they are all French and chat away in their lovely accents. last time I went was to have my nails done for my wedding - don;t get the impression I go every week or anything!

It's just our Paris trip is an early first anniversary thing before I get too preggy so I want to look nice and feel special.

  • Hi all,

MM your bump looks real nice, can't remember when mine wasn't the size of a house!

I really fancy a massage and being pampered - maybe I'll have to drop some hints to DH!

Spent 4hrs at the hospital last night before they finally let me go home about 8. By this point DS1 (who had been a complete angel whilst we were there!) was getting tired, DH was fed up and hungry and I was about to discharge myself/walk out. I'd been used as a pin cushion as they couldn't seem to get any blood until one of the midwifes got a needle and a syringe and didn't take any prisoners! Said baby is 4/5th engaged, good heartbeat, all my bloods came back fine. Although definately reminded me why a homebirth is so appealing - no waiting around for them to decide when you can go home and get in your own bed!!

    Glad everyone's scans are ok

Spooky skinty - my DH just called to say he was booking me a massage tomorrow because he thought I deserved it and was there anything in particular I'd like? I've asked for a reflexology session if they're free otherwise just a relaxing massage :) Reflexology in the hope they might start labour lol!

Can i join please? Its very early days for me (4 /5 weeks) and after a year of trying and 12 years together i am just hoping for a sticky bean :o

I am feeling a bit rough and nervous - i have been geting really bad cramps in my abdomen which wake me up in the nights (doc says it is something about bits moving around to make space) but i am very grateful just to get to this stage and am going to take one day at a time.

    Anyway - Hello everyone!:j

Enjoy it Skinty and Mrs T!
