If the NHS were to supply sanitary items I'd think it should be limited to a mooncup.

Get a mirena coil on the NHS and wave goodbye to periods.

Companies should be forced to offer a ring back service rather than keep you waiting on hold for an age on expensive telephone support lines.

Raise the income tax threshold to a living wage. There is no point being forced to pay income tax when the government is only going to have to hand it back to you in benefits. This would also reduce the marginal effective tax rate for those seeking to start low paid work.
  • Invest more money to prevent further decline in bee population.
According to BBC4 programme 'who killed the Honey Bee', this little insect pollenates and is therefore vital to at least a third of our food. Without it there would be no cotton for clothing.
Imagine the increased cost of food and clothing if more is not done now.

    Make prescriptions free for everyone

Or at least include asthma in the freebie list, sorry, bit of a selfish one!

I massively second this one; asthma can kill

People should not have to worry about whether they can afford to breathe today.

Breathing isn't optional, a luxury item, that you can decide to go without if you're short of cash.

The buying of debts should be stopped.
If the Original Creditor is happy to sell off a debt for a small sum, then this should be offered as a setlement figure to the Debtor first.
This would be an instant way of removing a lot of Law-Breaking ( appropriate word ) from the Finance Industry.

Consumers set their own credit card limit (up to an upper one prescribed by company) rather than current set up where company ups the limit when a large bill is settled.

    You can do this.

You just need to write into or phone the company and ask them to reduce your CC limit to the amount you want. As long as it's at or above their minimum, normally £500, they will do this for you.

Companies should be forced to offer a ring back service rather than keep you waiting on hold for an age on expensive telephone support lines.

Leading on from this customer service lines should not legally allowed to be on 0870/0871 numbers.

And for every 0845/0844 customer service number a company gives out they should also be legally forced to give out a geographical number.

Just as a little note. BBC1's Sunday politics show has picked up on this and I will be filming a brief interview for them this morning for Sunday. Im not sure which of the suggestions will be picked out, but it shows we're on the march.

    Scrap the TV licence
    - It costs households over £142.50 every year to fund the BBC when they could be using advertising instead of adding in all those swimming hippos/wierd number 2 shape fillers between programmes.

It would save almost every house in the country £142.50 this year, with no forms to fill in, no legal battles, no opt-in clauses, just scrap it!!
