Got a call about the Balance Transfer credit card. Card was sent out a few days ago. Initial limit of £100 is re-assessed every 4 months

Mate be careful, they can still decline when it goes past AVU - happened to me several times and I was offered a range of limits.... each time it went to AVU they declined me.....

But fingers crossed for you :T

I hope not! Won't be any great loss if they did, can't do much with £250 but beggers can't be choosers, as they say.

I'm confident I'll be accepted for another Sygma card, as my credit file has improved since the last time I applied (E/R, less available credit), so if they decline, another Sygma search won't hurt. Although I'm tempted to apply for another Sygma, despite just applying for Tesco.

Nah I'm not gonna touch Vanquis again. I was thinking about the MyWorld card but don't know what their limits are like. Might be better waiting till next week because I think it is too late now to get any instant decision?

    Hey well done mate!

Good luck with getting past that stage NID mentions... let's hope he's just benig a pessimist!

Even with a poor starting limit, it's a good APR, and as long as you have some turnover on the card they should seriously consider upping it after six months.

TBH if I were you I'd use that one as my "DD Full amount use instead of debit card" one; should stand you in good stead for a healthy increase in May / June - and at a cracking APR! Well done :o

What balance transfer card is that then? Seems like a bit of a stingy limit for a bal xfer card!!

Thanks! I'm not going to crack open the bottle of champagne just yet, incase they do decline as NID suggested.

I'm thinking of doing a BT from my Flybe card, 0% for 9 months but is it really worth moving £200 quid to it? Or just use it for shopping, and clear it each month? The extra clubcard points would be useful.
