  • It wasn't my account, it was my o/h, they had gone into once by accident.

BUDGET PROPERLY, IS THAT WHAT YOU DID TO END UP SUB-PRIME!:A
For your infomation I am subprime because I had/have no credit history. Luckily I have never been reliant on credit so have never needed it.

So to answer your question is that I did end up sub prime from budgeting properly! :rotfl:

When are you actually going to start offering some proper advise? Or do you just come on here to release some of your daily stress? :T

I passed my car theory test today (only just!) and quickly scarpered to the BSM office to book a fast track course thing. £620 split between two credit cards and I'm now dreading looking at the balance on online banking.

I had plans on using my savings to make a large purchase in June however I'm now thinking about using it to pay off the credit cards. Doing that will save me a ton in interest but I won't be able to buy what I wanted come June. Can't decide what to do! :(
    Well done!

Personally I would clear the credit cards off and the payments you would have made to the credit cards stick in savings?

  • Quick Question................

I have a Capitalone, Aqua and Vanquis card, now one of my friends says that Capitalone is NOT subprime card compared to the other two, he also said that LLoyds TSB do a subprime card now as well ?, he says it is called DUO and is 2 cards on one account.

I have looked at the Lloyds website and there is a DUO card but I dont see anywhere that it says sub prime or for people with poor credit historys like Aqua etc.

    Your mate is telling porkies.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Yes, it is a high scoring card, your capital one visa is a subprime card - if it is the classic visa?

Yeah your mate is definitely talking porkies.

He might be getting confused because Capital One offer Prime cards as well as sub prime, but their VISA card is Sub prime fo' sure ;)

Re: Airmiles Duo - very prime! Hard to get cards...
