The first time I applied, it got referred and was declined. I applied every 3 months after that and got instant declines. :rotfl:

Who thinks the HSBC Regular Saver is worth it? I am saving between £400-£500 a month and thinking of opening one. It basically pays for the HSBC Plus account then (which I have, as well as a gap year account)
  • Thanks to this thread I have been accepted for the barclaycard initial card now I'm on the road again to rebuilding my credit rating after all those horrible years in debt.

This time I will be a responsible credit card user as I got very heavily into debt twice before, never again though!

    Thanks again:j

In a few days, it'll be 4 months since I got my last increase on my BOS credit card to £1000.

I'll be allowed to request another increase. What should I increase it to? Would I be chancing my luck if I tried £2500 or more?

    Good morning troops

Its been a while since i was last on here been working really hard studying for a course i was doing and good news is i managed to get a pass so it opens alot of doors for me now work related.

Settling into new house fine anyway just trying to get xmas out the way before i can really pay more off my credit cards anyway. There all cut up so cant go spending on them coming upto xmas anyway.

Going to write a letter to capital one this afternoon regarding the cheque they still owe me for bank charges and also the default they have is getting removed in a few days so just a wee reminder for them.

... Just applied for Barclaycard Initial and got the "We need more information" result.

I have five active accounts at my current address, two credit cards and three bank accounts. I bank with Barclays, too.

I should've held off because I'm not on the electoral role yet but I couldn't help myself as Equifax "Corrected" some stuff on my credit report... linked address stuff... I thought I should give it a go before the "Mistake" got "Un-corrected"

Has anyone else had success with the "We need more information"? If my thinking is correct Barclays won't have seen any adverse in that credit check...
