I know! I got this off one of them:
It's my pleasure to inform you that your item i bought off ebay has been paid for by the paypal...... the payment has been made including the shipment cost to my son's address because i want the item to be sent to my son in Nigeria through the address below ...
and then this
What? I paid for the item and the exact amount the paypal informed me to pay for the postage to my son since I wanted this to be sent to him and what do you want me to do now and the paypal has informed me that the payment confirmation has been sent to you and that as soon you are able to send to the paypal customer service the shipment tracking number they will use that to verify your payment into your account....Please do get to the paypal as soon as possible so they can credit your payment into your account.
They must think we are absolutely dense0 -
LOL.
I think eBay should ban Nigeria completely. The lot of them are nothing but crooks. They must be teaching this stuff in their schools. I've yet to meet (or even speak) to an honest Nigerian.
I avoid doing business with Nigerians, simply because they have a reputation of being the worst con artists in the history of civilisation.
Note (to those who'll scream racism): I'm not racist, I just don't want to be robbed of my money.:rolleyes:We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I vowed not to apply for any other products until Jan, at least, but I slipped up today and applied to MBNAAutomatic decline, no surprise there, but I sent my appeal letter off.
I've resisted 2 months of not applying though! :j Gold sticker for me :jWe’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I'm surprised Aqua accepted me. You're meant to wait 6 months before reapplying. I closed my account about 2/3 months ago I think. It was £350 credit limit when closed, so only dropped £50 to £300 with a new account. Hoping it'll go to £500ish after 4/6 months. CapitalOne are unlikely to increase my limit ever again and it's at £200. Plus they're putting interest rates up to 39% apparently.
I'm wondering if Lloyds will match my HSBC overdraft of £100 if I take a statement into them? I've got to go and show them a utility bill/passport tomorrow morning, so will take my bank statement and see if they'll match it.0 -

The last time I tried applying for Aqua, they declined me. That was about 6 months after I got my first credit card.
Yah don't hold your breath for another increase from Capital One. Bloody tight bas*ards. :rotfl:We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
