Had a phone call from the NatWest branch manager today saying they are going to refund my charge as it was made in error, and kept apologising.
Was in branch earlier complaining again about the charge. It's the shame the branch manager didn't phone an hour ago before I drafted my complaint letter to the customer relations manager.
Anyway.. I'm going to make the most of this situation. I've wrote in my letter I want reimbursed for travelling expenses to the branch(to sort out their error) and want them to foot the bill for my credit report from the 3 agencies. No harm in trying my luck. :rotfl:We’ve had to remove your signature. I'm not applying for anything else for at least another 6mths. I had to get a new current account so thought I may as well try this as well. I also tried Virgin to see if they'd accept me. If they did I wasn't going to chase them for their charges, but they declined me so I'm going to be sending the letters off this week if I can get myself together! Also gotta send letters off about Barclays PPI.
I have Capital One, Aqua, Vanquis, Next and Very. Oh and a brand new current account with Lloyds TSB, so no need for anything else for the moment. Wonderful OH is lending me his CC to buy a car :smileyhea0 -

Also they added another linked address cause i just moved home aswell and updated my account online. Does have linked addresses affect your chances? cause i last moved around 7 years ago and still have the linked addresses on there cause i had lived there for under 3 years.
A linked address moved from 7 years ago will have no affect on current applications or credit rating as any adverse information held at this address would have been removed after 6 years. The link will be removed from your credit file 8 years after the date it was added!:D0 -
If the link is meant to be removed 2 years after the date added i have ones added from 2002 which are still on my file.0

I have had a Capitalone card since July last year and have only had the limit increased once after 4 months !, I started on £500 and went up to £1100 and since then nothing !, I pay in full everything month, never missed a payment etc and still no increase, and if I ask for one I get the standard we don't do them on request but we do review regularly etc etc.
But since last July I have also had a Vanquis, and started on £250 limit and now on £1500 limit with a Gold Card (Arrived today very posh), again pay in full every month so not worried by the high APR and they do regular increases, also had a Aqua since Jan and they have already increased from £900 to £1200, so I don't know if I should just leave my Capitalone card and just spend on the other two who do increase regularly.
That said Capitalone and Aqua have online banking and Vanquis dont !.

You and me both!
It would be great if they did drop off after two years as I've moved twice since declaring myself bankrupt, and that will be two years ago in March, but there are links from 2004 still on my reportCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
