I got a salary paying more than £2,500 per month.
Whats more interesting is that there is no reason given...so i will have to write to head office and find out why i have been declined for a meany £100 overdraft!!!!
Bear in mind tho, HSBC applied this overdraft when I had the incorrect linked address showing defaults... Oh well..... Best bet will be to write in. They are usually good at calling you back and then you can discuss itBank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500

Steer clear of managed loans, once you have had one of those, HSBC will no longer want to lend to you even if you repayed it, this is because they viewed you as a high risk borrower after putting you on to it.0 -
New statement from Vanquis produced today and no increase in limit. Will probably keep the same card too. Boo!0

May I ask how long it took your file to recover and what your adverse was?
Thanks.
All my credit accounts have been opened within the last year (see sig) but I think it was due to my behaviour score with RBS and the fact that my default is now 3 years old, that I was accepted.0 -

Nonsense! Where did you get this from?
I had a perfect payment record on managed loan, and a decent behaviour score of 60....if they think im a high risk then, then why my hsbc internal behaviour score is 60?
If what you are saying is true, then i might as well close the account!!
I have been reassured by the staff at the branch that once managed loan is paid off in full, then i will have my account marker removed to previous status and can apply their credit products as long the behaviour score is above 50/60!0 -
I never got a Gold Card  should I ring and complain before I close it ? lol
Is it really worth arguing with those Chatham Chavs?
Vanquis Customer Service is diabolical, you'll probably end up more furious than when you picked up the phone!
Still you can get some satisfaction calling them saying "Gold Card? No? OK Close account then, chavs."Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
