DLA isn't income affected, seeya23, so you are eligible no matter how much or little you earn

I was never told this when my claim was renewed a few months back. Is there a link which says that if I start work I have to inform them?

When I renewed my claim for DLA I was unemployed, they never asked me to update them if I started work again. I called them to change my address details in september, advised I was working, they said "has there been a change in your condition", I said no, they said "well it doesn't matter then".

They only want to know about changes to your condition not your employment.

If of course, you start working again because there's been a change in your condition, they need to know about the change. Not the work

Most certainly. I work 16 hours a week and receive a notable sum in the form of Tax Credits because of the DLA.

To be honest I don't mind if it's slashed when the conservatives come into power as I don't feel I deserve all this money anyway
