But if I did 16 hours I would be able to claim tax credits.0

Hello everyone!
Latecomer here but I'm well and truly sub-prime for the next few years. Nice to be with fellow folk
Fifth Vanquis statement is being produced tomorrow so hopefully I'll get a tidy limit increase. Fingers crossed!
Mrs_Ryan Yes, chatham is genuinely a Chav Central - by all means use it in your sig! Maybe we should get a petition going in the
V A N Q U I S thread to get everyone to use it in their sig?
Good luck with the job, Cifpower.
DLA isn't income affected, seeya23, so you are eligible no matter how much or little you earn
EDIT: Just put Vanquis' postcode, ME4 4WQ, into the Checkmyfile Postcode checker found here. Right awful area! Check it out, tis worth a giggle.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

When I renewed my claim for DLA I was unemployed, they never asked me to update them if I started work again. I called them to change my address details in september, advised I was working, they said "has there been a change in your condition", I said no, they said "well it doesn't matter then".
They only want to know about changes to your condition not your employment.
If of course, you start working again because there's been a change in your condition, they need to know about the change. Not the workCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Most certainly. I work 16 hours a week and receive a notable sum in the form of Tax Credits because of the DLA.
To be honest I don't mind if it's slashed when the conservatives come into power as I don't feel I deserve all this money anywayCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
