Don't they always do this, log in tomorrow and you'll see it will have application decision link next to it. They can't give decisions (automated) at this time of day! But halifax always do this - they give the account number etc - if anything log in and go to add/remove accounts and see if it shows there.

Either way, give it a day or two and it will appear on the homepage and have a decision there. You wouldn't be accepted at this time of day.

Ahhh  I hope i get the account though !! but if any thing if i remember correctly, even the last time (about a year and a half ago) I applied for for the halifax account and it was past midnight it came up as a straight decline, but atleast this atleast haven't got that !!

Any way it said to confirm my home no so that they can very me to set up my online banking, but i declined and asked it via post as my phone is not working , so it will be a couple of days to log into the online banking !!

Planing to visit my local branch first thing tommorow and see what they say !! If I have indeed got it will be my second full account after Lloyds Tsb premier one, and then my crappy abbey instaplus one can go though have only open it a month back !!

Will keep u guys posted anyway !!

I got a letter from Alliance and Leicester telling me my account numbers and internet/telephone banking ID today. No letter asking for ID or income etc... just applied online and everything is coming through.

    Shame they're a terrible bank. :D

When applying for credit, can parental contributions be included as income? If your parents, for example, pay you a fixed amount of money each month?

PM Proliant and check with him about the source of his V12 comment cos if so then that would mean CallCredit according to him. I thought they used Ex/Eq but am confused - we're waiting for confirmation....

So the other day I thought I'd randomly apply (again) for an overdraft with RBS having recently discovered I actually had a current account as opposed to a basic account with them. And to my surprised I was accepted! I was recommend to apply for a £700 limit as a result of my account conduct but to be safe I only tried for £100. Better than nothing I guess, aye....

One thing I found a bit funny was how they didn't credit check me and this was the case the first time I applied also .

Anyway, does anyone know how long the interest-free period is on their overdrafts?
