Halifax opened an aco!!!! for me a few years ago and they gave me a £200 O/D. I had my Salary paid in every month and within 3 months my O/D was upto £1000 if that helps?"I Assume I Need No Introduction"0 -
I was just wondering, I have a basic halifax account atm, but i've gone overdrawn quite a few times these last few months as money has been very tight, but alright again now.
Would I be better getting an account with someone else and starting again, making sure I don't go overdrawn? as I bet my internal score will be horrendous with Halifax, so can't ever see them upgrading my account... Or will the internal score repair itself if I make sure there's always sufficient funds in there from now onwards?
and pfffftttttt!! all these people with overdrafts, i don't even know what it's like to have one haha:rolleyes:
This thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.0 -
Halifax do not issue Cheque cards anymore.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

thanks,i thought i had read that on here.
i have a three page letter,
page one is acceptance and id request etc,
page two is thanks for openning account,
and three is application form(applied on line)to sing,in that it reads"you may not be able to gaurantee cheques yet.if this is the ,case we will send you a card to do these three things as soon as you qualify for one".
strange they want id as im a bos credit card holder.also no sing of this account on my online banking, and asks me to pay the £100 to open the account if i havent already .its the first ive herd since the original app so how could i have payed?
out of date standard app letter i suppose?
just logged on again and went into my preferences,it is in there and ticked not to show.no overdraft as yet.
when o/h got her account her file was appaling, overdraft came quick.i may run money through until abbey hits six months and go from there,as to where salary goes.littlewoods/littlewoods direct/marshall ward/kays/greatuniversal/empire stores/addittions/grattans/next/ambrose wilson.barclay card/cap1/bos/vanquis gold/vodafone/3 .dell finance/currys finance
