Ooh, the Additions Direct sounds interesting. Is that a normal credit card or just a store card? If CC please provide a link as I would give it a shot (would love to dump Vanquis too as it is the highest APR 49%!!! of the 2 (Flybe 28%) I have). Would love to have a 19% card :)

I think I typed the wrong name in my first post (due to the excitement of getting the card lol) it not the additions card I got its the accessory card. Just google JD Williams accessory card for the link. . Some people have been given one with an apr of 24.9% but you can get 19.9%, still better than CAP one and vanquis
Capital One Limit £1600, Accessory Card Limit £2000
Vanquis Limit £1500 Littlewoods Direct Limit £1000

Just out of curiosity, do Sky credit check and/or report to CRA? I phoned and signed up to Sky, 12 month contract at £18 a month. I didn't even think about whether they actually credit check or anything like that, as I just thought if you don't pay, they cut you off.

My viewing card is on its way anyway. I can't check Experian or Equifax for searches as I've canceled my subscription for both.

Cif is right. They never checked my Dad's credit files nor do they report to CRA. They may check their internal records for debt but I should imagine that's about it.

Shall I move from Abbey to Barclays. I'm annoyed with Abbey because they still won't give me a Visa Debit card.
